Clean friendly suites
Pros:

Nice hotel with great amenities and rooms. Outdoor grills and kitchens in rooms full breakfast buffet this is a great spot for business.

Great location and I would definitely stay there again
Pros:

We stayed at the location following a large concert. The hotel was fully booked; however, the hotel was well equipped, and the location was very quiet and relaxing.

Cons:

I don’t know that this was within the control of the hotel, but there was an infestation of love bugs, and there were a number of them in one of our rooms

Pros:

Michael Scott, guest services mgr was very professional and patient as he was assisting a new employee on procedures. He took care of one small concern we had immediately. Because of Mr. Scott we will be staying there whenever we go to Gainesville.

The locations of the elevators when loading and unloading the car.

Trying to shake down customers. Real winners here
Pros:

Have a reservation for next weekend confirmed 5 months ago. However today they told me they have changed the price. Now the want me to pay an extra $400 us for 2 nights to keep my reservation. What is the point of the reservation if they are not going to honour it. Said there are no rooms available because of the concert that’s why they want the extra $400 us

Typically good stay, but room 120's a clinker
Pros:

Typical good to excellent Homewood Suites experience, with only 1 exception. Suggest you avoid room 120 unless you prefer a view only of a commercial a/c unit. We thought we'd enjoy being able to see our car parked in the lot outside our windows, but instead could only see the enclosed monster hvac system and watch as its filters were being serviced. Ick.

Stay was good would come back again.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Plenty to eat. Staff was there to help you. Food area was very clean, seating was clean and wipe down as soon as the space was empty.

Cons:

To be honest the only thing that was a pain was the low toilets. Being older made it difficult to use them.

Pros:

That my family and I were able to go swimming, order door dash and have our own beds to sleep in. The staff treated my children like VIP guests and they all loved that. Everyone was so inviting and friendly. I would definitely be back.

There wasn’t anything about my stay that I didn’t enjoy.

noisy; walls are paper thin, could hear people talking next door and above us
Rooms to be done "every other day"; we checked in on thursday at 5pm and on saturday at 5pm (when we showering for dinner) a person stopped by and asked if we "wanted any services"
