A week in this light, airy hotel on the outskirts of Paphos proved a better-than-expected base for our Cyprus holiday. The staff were magnificent and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. I am disabled and the hotel is not really geared up for disabled guests: there are no disabled/accessible toilets in the public spaces of the hotel, with the gents in the -1 level having only one widened cubicle, but it's not big enough to accommodate a mobility scooter and the toilets are at the end of a corridor which is very narrow and difficult to negotiate. The outside toilets are down a steep flight of steps and cannot be negotiated by people such as myself with no legs. There is a scooter ramp in the lobby which allows access to two bars/lounges but doesn't allow access to the outside terraces. Ours was not a disabled bedroom and the shower very narrow with no grab handles and an extremely dangerous marble floor which was lethal when wet. The hotel has only two accessible rooms which isn't enough; the Tui website says that the hotel is not suited for disabled guests - and I think that's quite accurate. We went with Jet2 Holidays who telephoned the hotel before the booking could be confirmed, and the hotel were happy to take the booking where they really should have declined it if there was no disabled room available. The food was excellent in the Atrium restaurant, the service outstanding , the noise from the road outside the hotel was loud, which affected our landward facing room. the cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent, and the price we paid was a fair reflection of the quality of the hotel, good value for money. All in all, this is a lovely hotel but I believe it needs to offer more disabled facilities if it is to accept more disabled guests - which I understand is its aim. Thank you for a lovely holiday, we hope to be back.
We have stayed at this hotel on 4 occasions. The view from reception is fantastic, especially when the sun is shining. Reception area is excellent. The rooms have everything that you need and are kept exceptionally clean, staff are very friendly in all areas. We had an issue with our room not having hot water, but we got moved to another room straight away. We are back September, we can't wait to return.
Excellent hotel. Have had three holidays there and never been disappointed. Food is in abundance and the staff are all so friendly. Hopefully we will return.
Wonderful 10 days at this great hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff. Side Sea View room ( facing west ) was superb, best laid out bathroom ever with mirrors, hooks, lights all in right place for one! Sea view from our bed and lovely sunsets. Breakfasts were amazing, as good/better than 5* we have been to. Buffet dinner was also incredible, all freshly cooked and lots of choice. Little shop to buy bottled water etc at local supermarket prices. Lots of space to lounge indoors or out. Lovely 40min sea walk to Paphos Harbour & main archaeology site with incredible mosaics. Great bus service from front of hotel. Lots of evening entertainment & activities if desired.
First visit to this hotel and we will certainly be returning. Hotel is spotless, food was excellent and plenty of activities to take part in. We were on a Bowls trip and I can’t praise Gary and Lorna enough for their organisation in what was at the time difficult circumstances. Very helpful and accommodating. Also Rayna and her team who looked after us very well in the Restaurant, making sure we could all sit near each other for Breakfast and Dinner.
I stayed for a week as part of an HF walking holiday. I had a classic room with a sea view with large twin beds. The room was spacious with a table and chairs. The room was spotless with no maintenance issues. The only thing I didn't like was that the ensuite included a shower over the bath rather than a walk-in shower. The wifi worked well with no discernible speed-related issues. Our breakfasts and dinners consisted of a buffet in a large dining room. The food was well prepared with lots of variety. Waiters took your orders for drinks (house wine is 13 euro for half a bottle) and delivered them promptly. The hotel is located next to the sea with a promenade leading into the town (about 20 minutes walk). We were told to drink bottled water which is available, along with many other food and non-food products, from the on-site shop at 0.8 euro per litre.
We have been to Athena Beach Hotel a few times and have allways found it be be very comfortable with a warm wellcome.

Lots of sun beds and an adult area if preferred . We have seen no trouble whilst there re : drones etc, flight on time no media hype a lovely lovely holiday
Excellent hotel, first class service in luxurious surroundings. Friendly people that know what means hospitality. Cyprus is safe and we had a lovely weekend at the TUI Cyprus Marathon. Amazing! 😍

Myself and my two teenage daughters stayed at Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel during the May half term in 2025. It was our first time visiting Cyprus and we absolutely loved it!
The hotel is beautiful, with great facilities (highly recommend the SPA) and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and we all had such a wonderful time.
I would highly recommend this hotel and we really hope we can come back and stay here again in the future!
We have had an amazing experience choosing for our family holidays Constantinou Bros Athens Beach hotel!
Friendly and very attentive service with staff going all along the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay. Great Value for money.
Prime location on the beach and many local amenities. Convenient access to all Paphos attractions. A wonderful easy going resort lay-out with tranquil gardens.
Inviting and elegant atmosphere.
Spotless and comfortable rooms with great views.
Overall cleanliness is a standout feature.
All hotel amenities are excellent and very well organized.
Great breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar options.
Top Loyalty program (Elite) with many discounts and perks to pick and join.
The company has close by another 3 upgraded hotel options to choose.
Special mentions and big thank you for Mr. Lakis Director of Reservations, Katerina at the Front-desk/guest relations, our housemaid, Konstantina the SPA manager, Harris the F&B supervisor, Valentina and Adrianna at Leda restaurant, Roni at the Pool bar, Vangelis at the Pool restaurant and Sarah at the kids club. All true gems for the hotel and the company.
Thank you all and see you soon, probably at least 3-4 times a year onwards!
Great first class hotel but work going on next door makes a morning sleep in impossible.
Only come when this is finished.
The hotel is amazing and I have never met such attentive staff. I would especially like to mention Kitti and Julia and Bath in the restaurant, but I could also mention many other people. Lots of little touches, kindness, I will definitely be back ;) :D I love this place <3
The location is amazing. Right on the coast and our room had a wonderful sea view, which let us watch the sunset over the sea every night.
We chose early season because we wanted a quiet and non-busy stay, and while the weather was a little colder than we hoped, unseasonally so (15-17°C), the stay was still brilliant, and just as quiet as we had hoped.
I cannot fault the staff at all, every single one of them was kind, courteous and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. They made the hotel warm and welcoming at every turn.
The food was an absolute highlight. The buffets were excellent, with great variety all cooked to a high standand, and drinks served directly to the table. But the a la carte dinners were a level above. Though the enormous portions were more than we could possibly have finished. But everything we tried was a delight.
There is an indoor pool, which was great given the weather, and we did make use of the sauna and steam room a couple of times, both of which were excellent.
We had the treat of one of the private pool suites. This came with all inclusive plus, which gave us a lot of food options despite being here out of season and many of the restaurants and bars being close. Sadly we didn't get a lot of use from our pool, due to the weather, but that was purely bad luck. And the few times we did use it, it was a lot of fun. Watching the sea from our private little terrace was definitely a real treat.
I will also say, that the staff did an excellent job of accomodating our disabilities, both physically (making sure we had accessible tables and we're aware of access routes) and mentally (good communication and staff happy to answer any questions without judgement, and with much kindness and patience).
The only two small criticisms I have are that:
1 - the shower is very slippery, and the sudden slope at the edge of it is not very clear. This meant I did take rather a nasty fall one evening (I am okay).
2 - there are several patches of lantana bushes around. While these are very pretty, they are quite toxic and causes rashes when brushed up against. Some of these are in family areas which could be dangerous for young children, and some are along walk ways, which meant my wife ended up with a nasty rash on her hand that is still not fully recovered after several days.
(These are issues we will raise with reception upon checking out)
I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and will seriously consider returning in the future. Though hopefully with somewhat warmer weather.
