Great location, clean room. The rooms facing the street can be noisy at times. The breakfast is really good with a wide selection of food.
Staffs are friendly
The facilities are old fashioned. Feeling not worth paying that price.
This hotel is a great find. Fantastic location, only a short walk from the station. From airport to hotel 35mins max. Room was a good size and clean. The reception staff went above and beyond to make our stay a very pleasant one. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Krakow.
Nice and quiet hotel close to everything. Good breakfast and super good reception service and friendliness.
Close to city center-staff friendly
Musty smell but overall good value close to plaza
Spent a lovely six days in Krakow at the Hotel Wielopole. It is just a short walk from the hotel to the beautiful Main Square. The hotel staff were so polite, caring and willing to assist us with providing local information and booking taxis to make our trip a trouble free and memorable one. I highly recommend the Hotel Wielopole.
This has been the best trip we have ever taken. Krakow is truly a very special city, filled with charm and magic.
Hotel Wielopole is simply a fantastic hotel.
The staff are absolutely incredible—so kind, welcoming, and helpful.
Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.
We will definitely be coming back! ❤️
I coordinated a stay of six nights for 37 people, including myself, at Hotel Wielopole. Throughout the entire reservation process (via email communication with them), the stay, and even after the stay (when they sent me a personalized thank you email), the experience was delightful. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated, the breakfast was one of the best we had across several cities, and the location was ideal—a short walking distance to many of the Old Town attractions without the area feeling congested.
However, the kindness and care of the entire staff was the true highlight of the stay. Even though we were a large group, which can be difficult to accommodate, the staff went out of their way to meet the individual requests of everyone—even helping us find a group tour for the next day within 15 minutes of our inquiry. Everyone at the hotel (including Natalia, Ania, Kasia, Edyta, Asia, Maja and Sylwia) always conveyed the highest level of professionalism and warmest regards. We look forward to being able to return.
After spending many many hours/days reading reviews for Krakow hotels, I came across this Gem of a hotel. I booked direct with the hotel and the reservation team were so helpful with the booking process and any questions raised. Booking direct also provided a much better price than other websites advertising the hotel. The hotel is small but provides a much more personal service which was perfect for us. The staff were so gentle, polite, caring and on hand 24/7 to assist with anything. From booking trips, providing directions and free guides to booking taxi's, nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel is in a quiet location but only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Main Square, 15 mins to the train station/mall/bus station, so is in a perfect location for exploring Krakow. The room was extremely comfortable and had all of the facilities needed. The bathroom was also very clean (always important!). I have no doubt in recommending this hotel, and will be doing so to friends who wish to visit Krakow. It deserves more than 3 stars!
La ubicación y el excelente trato
Beliggenheten er helt topp.
Veldig hyggelig personale.
Den lille balkongen var helt super.
Litt støy fra trafikken. Men så lå vi ut mot gata.
Excellent location, service and amenities.
Clean, friendly, elegant :)
Lovely experience at the hotel. The staff was always very helpful and cheery. We got a complimentary room upgrade too. We enjoyed our two days at the hotel as we were visiting Krakow and Auschwitz. The location was central and almost everything was within walking distance.
Good value for money. In close proximity to the Old Town and public transport stops, making it convenient for visiting everything interesting in the city.
The rooms are small but comfortable and furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Very clean.
Good breakfast with a variety of products. In the lobby you can get free coffee at any time.
Friendly, always polite staff.
Nothing
I have just returned from a short break in Krakow. Never been before so not sure of what to expect. This was a brilliant Hotel to stay in. Location is a very short walk to the heart of the City Centre. I got a train in from the airport and it was a 6 minute walk to the Hotel from Kraków Grzegórzki Station or you can go to the main Krakow station 1 stop before (Kraków Główny), which is a 14 minute walk, this also has the main shopping mall
Facilities were all that were needed for a short break, even hosting a free Vodka tasting night. Rooms were very clean
Staff were very helpful and friendly and we were able to get some tips off them including tasting the local bread sold in little stalls, which I found out you can only get in Krakow
looking to return back at some point with other family members and cant see why I will not be going back to this one
Thank you for helping the trip be as good as we hoped for
