From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. MYR10 Tourism Fee is applied to Foreign Tourists, payable to hotel upon check in. This Tourism Fee is exempted for stays between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2022.
An amount of deposit will be collected upon check-in and unutilized amount is refundable upon departure.
Apart from that, should there be damaged to the room while the stay or detected upon departure, depending on the type and extent of damage, the hotel is entitle to collect a separate amount accordingly.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. The staff displayed unprofessional behavior, particularly the manager at the front desk, who was not at all helpful. It is important to maintain a courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, especially those who may have made errors in their bookings. The responses provided to clients were discourteous. Having worked in the hotel industry myself, I would not conduct myself in the same manner.. I won’t be sending any of my client from penang to Novotel
Nice and friendly
There is not much we did not like about this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, great location in center next to one of the largest malls I have ever seen. This hotel was out backup after a not so successful stay in another place and we couldn't be happier to move to this hotel. Beds were very comfortable.
Honestly there is not much to not like about this place. Only small remark is that the breakfast area was under construction but I guess we were a little unlucky about that and in the future this will not be a problem.
La proximité juste en face du pavillion. Tour Petronas à 15 minutes à pieds. Bus tour aussi à pieds en face un 7 eleven. En plein centre emplacement vraiment top
L’accueil. Celle qui a fait le Check in était assistée par une autre dame pas très aimable. Aucun sourire. Pas de bienvenue, très déçue de l’accueil. On a compris nous même par la carte qu’on nous a remis où se situaient la piscine, la salle de sport, lieu du buffet, ect. Aucune explication de leur part. La Piscine n’est pas très grande. La qualité du buffet est à revoir, attente pour les œufs, 10 minutes pour avoir du lait chaud. Déçue du buffet répétitif et pas non plus extraordinaire. Par contre le voiturier très aimable . On lui a laissé un pourboire,vraiment sympathique. Ce n’est pas adapté aux familles. Séjour offert pour notre ado mais la chambre est petite ce sont deux petits lits. Il faut payer un lit supplémentaire.

Stand lighting is too bright
Loved how it’s situated directly behind Pavillion mall. The skybridge access also located just behind the hotel which makes it easy to go to Pavillion and even KLCC.
Room could be better, especially the lighting part (personal preference) and the bedsheet had a stain on it during my stay.
