Pros:

We had an amazing stay at TUI BLUE Kalamota Island. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful sea views and a peaceful, car-free island atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel valued throughout our stay.

The hotel was spotless, the rooms were comfortable, and there were plenty of sunbeds available around the pool and beach areas. We particularly enjoyed the all-inclusive food and drink selection, as well as the laid-back entertainment in the evenings. The island itself is beautiful to explore, and Dubrovnik is easily accessible by ferry for day trips.

Heerlijk relax
Pros:

Uitzicht en het strand was fantastisch
Alles was zeer netjes
Het hotel was uitverkocht maar er heerst een rustige sfeer
Er was altijd plaats aan het zwembad
De bediening was zeer vriendelijk!
Eten was lekker

Cons:

Gym was pover, geen loopband of fiets. Ook op het eiland zijn er geen goeie paden om te lopen/fietsen.
Badkamer was aan de kleine kant
Balkon is ook zeer smal
Het eten was lekker maar het ontbrak aan variatie
Voor de bali sunbeds dien je bij te betalen (35 euro per dag)

Funcionários e animadores do restaurante.

Cons:

Fica aparente a diferença entre hóspedes da TUI, vs hóspedes gerais/reservas comuns.

Não existe enfermaria ou cuidados médicos no local, o que não se compreende face à dimensão do resort. Acresce a este facto de que os rececionistas não tem conhecimento sobre a existência e horário de funcionamento da equipa de saúde na ilha, o que resulta na total incerteza, em eventual situação de emergência.

Sugere-se especial atenção às partidas dos hóspedes, uma vez que muitos voos matinais obrigam a reservas de transferes particulares - o resort não demonstra especial agilidade na organização das partidas. Novamente, aqui nota-se que os hóspedes TUI, tem um tratamento diferenciado.

Die Lage war wirklich klasse und das Aufwachen mit direktem Blick vom Bett zum Wasser ein Traum. Das Personal war immer superfreundlich und hilfsbereit - Reinigungskraft, Kellner, Rezeptionsmitarbeiter, Bar, einfach alle.

Cons:

Die Wege zwischen den einzelnen Spots (Zimmer, Restaurant, Pool, Aussenbar) waren mir zu uneben. Gefühlt ging es immer rauf und runter.

"Places are shaped by both nature and people. This is exactly the case with the TUI BLUE Kalamota hotel. We rate our stay very highly and only regret that it lasted just one week.


The hotel staff create an incredibly warm, almost family-like atmosphere. Everyone is smiling, polite, and kind. The waiters remember the guests' preferences, from their morning coffee and favorite table to the drinks ordered for dinner. You truly don't feel anonymous here.


We would like to give special recognition to Ivana at the reception desk. For someone so young, she shows remarkable professionalism, an excellent understanding of guests' needs, and always provides clear, helpful information.


The rooms, located across 8 villas, mostly offer beautiful views of the bay as well as comfortable terraces or balconies. The meals are very hearty, delicious, and varied, and the restaurant boasts a stunning view of the sea. The pool is spotless, and there is a private sandy beach right next to it. Around the hotel, you can find lovely walking trails leading deeper into the island or to a charming, quiet beach.


We highly recommend this place to anyone longing for peace, quiet, and relaxation in nature. Plus, Dubrovnik is within easy reach (a 30-minute ferry ride away) if you want to experience a bustling city full of attractions and tourist life."

Pokoje typu standard sa relatywnie male. Wydaje sie ze taki pokoj wraz łazienką to ok. 20 m2.
Pewnym mankamentem jest brak wind, ale dla rownowagi pewna dawka ruchu jest wskazana.

Worthwile for a staycation subject to staff conduct and guest interaction training which needs to be improved

Great location and delicious meals through out the stay. Most of the staff members are friendly except on very disappointing restaurant staff member who mistreated us at the time of arrival.

We stayed at TUI BLUE Kalamota Island and unfortunately experienced a very serious issue immediately upon arrival that significantly affected the entire start of our holiday.

Shortly after check-in, a member of restaurant staff (Name should be ZACO as far as I remember) approached us in a confrontational, aggressive, and completely unprofessional manner while we were briefly in the dining area. The tone and language used were deeply inappropriate for a hospitality environment and included dismissive and humiliating remarks. This interaction left both my spouse and me feeling unwelcome, disrespected, and emotionally distressed at the very beginning of our stay.

We both informed him that you are not supposed to talk to your guests in this type tone and we were really surprised about his below statements;

1. Is this your first time experience in a hotel stay?
2. Do you think this is jungle?
3. I do not care your money

As a result, the positive mood and excitement we had arriving at the resort was completely destroyed by this incident. It took away the emotional happiness and sense of relaxation that one expects when arriving at a holiday destination.

The Duty Manager later addressed the matter and provided an apology, which we acknowledge. However, the damage caused by the initial encounter had already significantly impacted our experience.

We strongly believe that staff conduct and guest interaction training need to be reviewed to ensure no other guests experience a similar situation, especially at the very start of their stay.

Eine Woche zur Entspannung
Pros:

Freundliches, zuvorkommendes und sehr hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption. Gute Lage, wenn sich gerade Engländer nicht permanent lautstark unterhalten und/oder telefonieren findet man durchaus einen Ort zum Entspannen. Große Auswahl an Speisen, jeder findet etwas.

Cons:

Essen durchweg übergart, trocken und allerhöchstens lauwarm. Bedienungspersonal in Restaurant lügt schon einmal gerne um das gewünschte Getränk nicht servieren zu müssen weil es mit einem weiteren Weg verbunden wäre. Qualität der Getränke ist wir haben nichts billigeres gefunden. Vor allem bei den Säften während des Frühstück, Mineralwasser wird gar nicht angeboten. Schade dass man dem Gast die Wertschätzung nicht mit guter Ware ausdrückt. Es gibt auch günstige Produkte in einer angemessenen Qualität.
Allgemein ist du Anzahl der britischen Gäste mit dem typischen Verhalten zu hoch, das trübt leider das Gesamtbild sehr. Das hauseigene a la carte Restaurant ist aus unserer Sicht leider nicht zu empfehlen.
