Restaurants were nearby, and there was a beautiful park to walk in.
The room was said to have a patio with the room. It did not have one. The back door of the hotel was nearby and had a handicapped ramp that was supposed to be the patio? Also the carpet in the hallway was very stained.
Everything, the room was a lot of fun and I can't wait to check out the other themes they have there.
Traffic around the area.
The receptionist on the evening provided no helpful information on our room and the uniqueness of it especially since she could see we are senior citizens. She was unable to provide to us on recommendations for local restaurants indicating she doesn't go out much. Was unable to provide information about the park and other areas we were inquiring about which was the main reason we were in Boise.
I think the receptionist much like the lovely lady the following morning needs to be heads up and inform the guests of the kind of room, where it is located and to be able to share details and provided advice and recommendations. the morning receptionist was terrific- well informed, shared good ideas and pleasant.
The breakfast was marginal. the berries were frozen and therefore the parfait was not very eatable.
Also, the Inn was not fully booked, and they put us downstairs at the farthest away from the entry and drag our belongings down two flights of stairs in the basement areas and we were surprised to see we were sleeping in a covered wagon etc. We were not informed as to the room decor which was a part of the experience which I get but we would not have chosen that for our night together after 9 hours of travel... we would have liked more information from booking.com and the Inn itself.
No choice on the room and no heads up that we were getting a hot tub bath with a bucket which was supposed to be our shower.... which was difficult to get in and out of ....and our bed was a very high crawl into a covered wagon.
The location was close to food options and the airport. The parking was easy and free. We chose the Egyptian suite which was amazing!! The room was clean and comfortable. There was water and cider in the room refrigerator which was a nice surprise. The complimentary breakfast was great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. A really fun place to stay.
There are many stairs and no elevators. The entrance walking up had a lot of stairs and then getting to our room was another 2 flights. It was difficult carrying all our luggage up and down the different stair cases. There was also no coffee maker in the room which is always nice to have.
Everything
Nothing
This hotel was amazing. It was like staying in my own little fairytale. The hospitality was amazing and the breakfast is brought straight to your room at whatever time you request. Would highly recommend this hotel
The room was a little dark. More lighting would be better.
*Anniversary Inn*
I recently checked in and out with in 15 min. at the Anniversary Inn Boise ID unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.
Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by its lack of cleanliness. The space felt dirty and run-down, which was disappointing. I also noticed mold in several areas, raising significant health concerns.
Additionally, one of the windows had a broken lock, making the room feel unsafe. Overall, the condition of the room did not meet the standards I expected for my stay.
I believe it’s important for the management to address these issues to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests.
•Manager stated she requested a refund due to the room being unsafe I have called several times and manager will not return calls•
Its a cute idea that got a bit lost in the execution.
We stayed two nights in the French Canopy suite. The room was OK but a quite dated, as was the general vibe of the hotel. As an example, the carpet inset in the room was very worn, to the point that i stepped on the carpet tacks s a couple of times until I put a foot stool over the worn areas of the carpeting. The hall carpeting was also worn and dirty looking. Overall, everything in the hotel just seemed a bit tired.
Also, the bedding quality was early K-mart. The linen was very scratchy, like it had gone through the laundry a few too many times. Given the idea of the hotel, I would think highest quality bedding would be a must.
And don't get me started on the A/C. It sounded like a 747 on a take-off roll. Enough to wake me up when it cycled on.
The breakfast was kinda "meh". I would prefer to have a buffet in a common area.
Oh, yeah, no elevator or bell help. Lots of stairs on the front on the hotel then lugging suitcases up or down stairs to your room. Not a great first statement.
This one does not pass the "would I do it again" test for me.
It was very cool looking place to stay
Have no complaints
Love the location for sure because it’s not right in the middle of Boise👍🏽
Just an update on the mattress I would say….
Themed room.
Hallway rugs very dirty. In the room glasses dirty, tables needed washed off, themed pillows had dirty spots on them. They seemed to be out of alot of stuff. Popcorn and pop came with our room.No diet or sugar free soda very limited selection. She had to go find a second bottle of water. When breakfast came no butter or jam for the toast, no butter for the waffle. Oatmeal was suppose to come with butter brown sugar they only had white sugar.
The food
The room smelt like weed and the room/bathroom was extremely dusty like they hadn’t cleaned it in years. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The carpet was dingy and it looked like a dog got ahold of the carpet. We went to the Anniversary Inn two years ago and it was a great stay, but this go around was horrible.
Breakfast was good waffle a little dry and down fall was no butter syrup or any fork knife spoon to eat with any of the food we got.
