Beautiful old building with plenty of interesting features, friendly staff with on site bar, restaurant and cafe.
Bonus was staff providing swimming towels and matts for lake swimming.

Der alte Teil des Hotels ist verteilt auf mehreren Stockwerken und wunderschön verwinkelt. Ich durfte eines der Dachzimmer bewohnen - an einem regnerischen Tag in Luzern ein gemütlicher und heimeliger Rückzugsort.

El ascensor para entrepisos con lo cual hay que moverse parte por escalera. Colchón demasiado blando. El desayuno un poco desorganizado, ya que había que esperar los cafés y los platos calientes (huevos, tocino, etc) porque la cocina también atendía el bar anexo que es público. Sugerencia: deberían tener una máquina de café para que c/u se prepare su bebida y eso aliviaría a las mozas y a la cocina.
This was a great experience for my family. The hotel was great, we had everything we needed, and the hotel gives you a definite Swiss feel. The staff was wonderful, and the location is great. You can walk to the Chapel Bridge and all the surrounding shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend, and if we come back to Lucerne, this will be our hotel.

Location was perfect- easy walk to everything. Very cute convenient hotel. Excellent breakfasts. Loved the unique tiles in the bathrooms.
The shower in our bathroom was crazy small, very difficult to climb in and out. A normal shower rather than a tub shower would have been so much easier.
The location was perfect, and our rooms overlooked the church. The breakfast has so many options it was hard to decide each morning. The staff couldn't have been nicer, it was a great experience!
