Weder der Ort noch das Hotel sind eine Reise wert
Pros:

Das Zimmer konnte gut verdunkelt werden und das Fenster har den Schall von der Straße und vom Hafen gut abgehalten. Das Frühstück war ok, es wurde immer nachgelegt und es gab Regionales. Der Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel ist gut, auch gut ausgeschildert.

Cons:

Direkt beim Bezug des Zimmers fiel auf, dass der Boden nicht gesaugt/gewischt war. Sonst war die Sauberkeit ok. Das Bad kann nur als Nasszelle beschrieben werden und lüftet eher in das Zimmer - einen Abzug haben wir nicht gesehen. Während der Schall von Straße und Hafen isoliert waren, hörte man alles vom Flur. Als am Naxhbarzimmer geklopft wurde, wollten wir zur Tür gehen...

Port-en-Bessin is een enig, heel charmant vissersdorpje, en het Ibis hotel is daar top!
Pros:

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze spraken allemaal ook Engels, wat heel prettig is. Ze gaven altijd duidelijk en snel antwoord op onze vragen.
Het ontbijt was prima en goed verzorgd.
De locatie van het hotel en onze kamer was heel goed. We waren erg tevreden over de plek van onze kamer en het balkon, waar we lekker buiten konden zitten. Aan de overkant van het water allemaal leuke restaurantjes, bars en winkeltjes, dus helemaal top.

Cons:

We hadden graag voor onze 'upgrade' een klein koelkastje op onze kamer gehad, of koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Dat is gewoon fijn als je na een dag eropuit te zijn geweest, even in alle rust op je kamer wilt bijkomen.

Bel hôtel nous reviendrons
Pros:

Espace petit déjeuner et nourriture parfaits. Il faudrait juste que les parents de jeunes enfants leur apprennent qu’on ne gaspille pas la nourriture, que l’on ne fait pas de bruit, qu’on n’est pas tout seul etc….Cette tyrannie de l’enfant roi imposée par cette nouvelle génération de parents est insupportable.

Cons:

Des distributeurs de boissons fraîches et café dans les étages seraient appréciés.

Ein tolles Hotel im Top-Lage! Direkt am Hafen, Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Haus, Abstellraum für Fahrräder, großzügige Zimmer, reichhaltiges und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Good base for visiting the area, WW2 sites etc.
Pros:

The location was good, free parking outside. Short walk to a choice of nice restaurants and bars. Good breakfast choices, friendly staff.

Cons:

No tea/coffee facilities in room, went down to breakfast area to use the coffee machine with own tea bags and was charged eight euros!
