Nice place. Good breakfast. The staff even though they were very busy were very helpful.

No lift, parking was quite limited. Restaurant wasn’t available until 7.30 one night due to coach party.
Stayed here with friends for a battle of the Proms concert through Great Little Breaks .
Our room was clean but the AIR Conditioning was turned off !!
It was 28 degrees outside !!
Bed was comfortable and it was a nice quiet room.
Breakfast the next morning was a nightmare
Queues everywhere no staff to show you to a table ( the empty ones were not cleared of dirty plates etc )

When you did get to the food
No bacon
No choice of eggs only scrambled
No butter
No white bread
No tomato ketchup
No croissant or pastries and when I asked if there were anymore I was told No
They have all gone .
If the hotel knew that they would be accommodating a lot of guests for this event then why not cater accordingly and make sure that extra staff are bought in to cover the tables etc .
The staff were obviously over worked and probably stressed which is why they were being rude to guests.
I have stayed in several.Mercure hotels in the past without any problems but this one was undoubtedly the worst !!
Everything was perfect the staff were friendly couldn't have asked for anything better it was my on our second day and they left a and a couple cards for us to have a free drink
We celebrated a joint birthday party.
Location was perfect for all our guests to attend and enjoy the celebration.
The staff especially Shivanghi was amazing she made sure that everything was perfect from the 1st meeting to the end of the party.
The rooms were good, we even had rose petals on our bed which was a lovely memorable touch

wow what a wonderful hotel.
The whole place is so clean. From the moment you walk through the doors a most beautiful fragrance hits you. we were welcomed by Dipesh who gave us such a happy and warm welcome. Our room was spotless and had everything you need for a short break. Even a fan was waiting for us. The bathroom was spacious and the provided soaps and shower products were of a high quality and had a great smell. The bed was huge and was so comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and there was plenty of choice. Everything was replenished quickly and Nothing was too much trouble for the one staff member on duty at breakfast, Sujoy. He cleared tables quickly. He didn't rush us and he checked if we wanted any more items before he cleared the buffet. We ate in the restaurant and we were the last customers of the evening and once again we were not rushed by Shivy. The food was nice but the menu was not really to our tastes but we found enough to eat. Parking was free and plentiful. The communal areas carpets were so comfy and springy.
This hotel was run on minimal staff, we only saw a chef and a cleaner plus Dipesh,Shivy and Sujoy. Dipesh, Shivy and Sujoy did an amazing job of multitasking and worked very well as a team.
The staff really make this a special hotel they are so helpful and happy and as a guest we felt valued. Thank you so much we will definitely return when we are in the area.
This hotel provided an above standard room which included a comfortable bed and good shower. The overall cleanliness was above standard. The bedroom also had an excellent large fan. The breakfast was adequate and the staff although short in number were friendly and patient. Overall perhaps a couple more staff would make this hotel even better.
Great property. Bedroom was a little on the small side but beautifully decorated. The gardens were lovely and great for a stroll around. The restaurant was very good with high quality food served. The pork chop was lovely. The manager of these premises mad the stay more enjoyable friendly can do manner. Top spot

We were welcomed politely and treated well. The hotel was very clean in every area. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice. Would recommend and would definitely use again. 10 out of 10.
DO NOT STAY HERE. We booked to stay 1 night. At check-in, only one of the rooms was ready an hour after check-in time. Reception did not make us aware of this. Arrived back in the evening to find a party in full swing. Parking was difficult as cars had parked over the parking lines. Our rooms were directly opposite the room with the loud music of the party, again we had not been made aware of this at check-in. When we complained and asked if our rooms could be changed, we were told there were no other rooms available. It was only after I said we would leave a negative review that a complimentary breakfast was suggested. We declined & decided to drive home. I would not recommend this hotel as it does not appear that customers needs are thought about or prioritised.
