Location, friendly staff, nice breakfast and evening meal
The upgrade given which put us in a room where the extractor fan came on between 5 and 5.30am.
The location is good and there is free parking.
Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Around 10 p.m., the receptionist called us because some guests had apparently complained about the noise from our TV. However, the TV was actually turned off, and we were already preparing to go to sleep.
What was especially frustrating was that other guests were making a lot of noise and having a very loud intimacy until around midnight, but apparently nothing was done about it.
Another issue was that there was often no one at the reception. Whenever we needed something, we had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to come and assist us.
Overall, the handling of the noise situation and the lack of staff at reception made our stay less comfortable than expected.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is situated in a quiet location, no noisy areas nearby. Adequate parking, also EV parking if needed.
There are steps up to the hotel.
Room had tea and coffee facilities, and was more than large enough for storage space if you were staying longer.
Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Bath with decent shower and shower screen. Excellent quality shower and shampoo gels.
Didn't use the facilities or have any meals as we were visiting family locally and were going out with them.
Be careful when exiting the carpark onto the little lane before turningonto the main road.. The view is restricted to the left.
Everything was lovely, they sorted us a earlier check in due to attending a wedding and couldn’t have been more helpful. The team we all fantastic and the service was spot on, we even stayed for breakfast which was also good. Thank you for a great stay

The bedroom was too hot - - the duvet needs to be lighter in warm weather. Portable fan is - like all fans, noisey.

I was travelling with a family member who at the last minute couldn't make it. The gentleman on reception changed my booking from a twin room to a double room - no trouble at all. The room was spacious, very clean and the breakfast the following day provided lots of options.
It was a hot day and the room was very hot. There was a fan but no air con. The fan was noisy and I couldn't have it on all night like I wanted so was a fairly uncomfortable night. Bed was very firm too.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were lovely always greeted us when we arrived and returned each day.
Each morning for our entire stay (3 days )
Breakfast staff asked if we had paid for Breakfast. Even though we said yes, they said "oh .we will check"
This was uncomfortable for us as we paid in advance via Booking.com .
The lady on the final morning apologised.She said that the hotel had not passed the information through to the Breakfast room.
Hopefully you will be able to update your systems so as not to embarrass guests in future.

Internet cut out few times while watching a film
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.
The man behind the bar refused to serve me a filter coffee even though I could clearly see the machine was working. He told me to go and get one of the instant ones from the room. (I did try it and it tasted foul).
