Location was brilliant.
The location is great, just across a quiet road to the beach and prom. The room was clean and tidy, The staff were polite and helpful.
There is no aircon in the hotel and in the hot weather the hotel and room became very warm.
The room could do with a refresh of the decor.
Always enjoy staying with lovely friendly staff & apart from the heat, the room was fine and comfortable & fans were provided - pool was a Godsend & breakdast really nice
The heat - which is no fault of the hotel as we are not used to these temperatures
Breakfast was fantastic, staff were very helpful.
Hotel is very, very tired. Room was excessively warm, carpet was not clean, paint was falling off the walls particularly behind the radiator. Windows didn't open more than an inch. Walls are paper thin; approach to the room is up multiple sets of stairs, is poorly signed (I bumped into two other guests who were lost) and involves walking over a bridge above the swimming pool, which in the current heat, was unbearable. Bathroom was completely sub-par. Shower was useless, had a paper bath mat, mismatched taps and to cap it all off, the bathroom door wouldn't close, either because of the heat but probably also down to how many times it's been painted. Not up to standard at all. Smelled of smoke in the bathroom too.
Close proximity to family and loved being on the promenade
No parking or WiFi
Location on the promenade.
Meals excellent.
Majority of staff very helpful, when help requested - mainly in getting fans for hot bedroom.
Initially took a long time to find a staff member who smiled and looked happy to be there.
Hotel corridors a maze and we found it hard to find room.
No help offered to get through front swing doors with large bags, or assistance in taking bags upstairs.
Room very hot with no air-conditioning.
Good location on the seafront within walking distance of the beach and town. Friendly staff. Good choice at breakfast
Nothing
Booked with booking.com we paid £425 for what was adversited as a sea view.We was given the Chimmey suite and that was the view.Half the furniture was missing.Room was tired and needs everything ripping out and starting again. The coffee machine was a kettle. The suite was for 4 people mm 2 seater sofa and 2 chairs outside.
Mainly kids running around until late at night.
breakfast best part of the stay
Nice location, constable bed large room, nice lounge area, entertainment outside very good,
To many empty glasses left on tables outside hard to find one clear to sit at,
Seems short of staff or not organised. Inside bar not always attended having to wait
Fantastic breakfast every time and available early as well. Comfortable room and great staff
