Beautiful grounds, lovely hotel, excellent staff.
Pros:

Lovely property very friendly staff.
Excellent breakfast

Cons:

I ate in the dinning room on two occasions, the starters and the mains were delicious well cooked and presented.
The desserts were awful something to avoid. I had tiramisu was just thick cream and the Eaton mess was cream with a bit of fruit. The waitress when she saw it refunded me straight away.
I sincerely hope that you have managed to correct this.

Disappointing
Pros:

The grounds are beautiful and once I had scaled the 41 steps sometimes up narrow staircases the room was good.

Cons:

Despite explaining on booking that because of a mobility problem I would prefer a low floor room I was put up in the highest room in the hotel in the roof space. I appreciated that the hotel doesn’t appear to have ground floor rooms but surely it could have accommodated my needs a little more appreciatively. Once I got to the room I didn’t leave it until leaving the hotel after my stay as I feared not being able to scale the staircases for a second time. As a walking stick user, there not being a handrail on both sides of a steep staircase created more difficulty.

The cooked breakfast was also disappointing. We had smelled the bacon cooking from our room at approximately 6am and when it was served to us at 7 it was clearly overdone.

In summary, I wouldn’t return unless improvements are made. The potential is there, but cleanliness, attention to dietar
Pros:

We traveled three and a half hours to Inglewood Manor, excited for our stay. Unfortunately, first impressions were not ideal: the front was untidy with noticeable weeds. Once inside, the receptionist was polite and welcoming, and we were given the Oakwood Suite. The suite itself was lovely, but the fireplace and table were dusty, and the kettle’s lead was too short, requiring us to boil it on the floor.

As someone gluten- and dairy-intolerant, I appreciated that the staff adjusted the menu for me. However, the soup arrived with a non-gluten-free roll. Thankfully, I double-checked, and the waitress apologized. Still, such oversight could have made me quite ill. On top of that, the service was extremely slow, with two courses taking two hours. We opted not to stay for dessert.

Inglewood Manor is a lovely place to stay in the country, it set in lovely grounds, the beds are comfortable, the pillow
Pros:

Its Tudor setting, age, had nice grounds and the fishing lake. The food was excellent and good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was easy to find and park the car.

Cons:

The prices shown in the Lounge Bar and the restaurant did not include VAT and a 10% service charge was levied against all drinks without notification. We thought this was cheeky and unacceptable. A 10% service charge was also automatically levied against the food & drinks in the restaurant.

A most pleasant location. Very rural yet close enough to connurbations such as Liverpool, Chester and Birkenhead.
Pros:

Wonderful surroundings. The place has presence.

Cons:

It’s starting to look a little tired in places. Some of the external woodwork starting to look tired and in need of some tlc.
