Ein 5 Sterne Hotel, das etwas überbewertet ist, was Preis / Leistung angeht. Da ist noch „Luft nach oben“ in allen B
Pros:

Das Restaurant (Terrasse) als Solches und das Bistro mit Aussenbereich im Schlosshof

Cons:

Staubfäden/Weben im Zimmer / am Bett, Minibar spärlich ausgestattet, Zimmer war hellhörig, kein Spa Bereich (ist halt 5 Sterne mit entsprechendem Preisniveau), Schlossgarten könnte besser beleuchtet und teils gepflegt sein, nur das sichtbar Notwendige ist schön, kein Licht oder Kerze am Tisch (Terrasse), Servicepersonal „diskutiert“ bei Wünschen, Frühstück keine Marmelade, Egg Benedict muss nochmal separat bezahlt werden bei 30,-€ Frühstück, Fluglärm Einflugschneise (kann das Hotel aber nichts dafür), überall kleine Details, die fehlen!

Very nice hotel with lots of character, excellent food and breakfast, comfortable room
Pros:

This is a lovely little hotel and we have stayed a number of times as a stop over on a longer journey, and always enjoyed our stay. Food is excellent - they very kindly also catered for a vegan in our party, and breakfast is sublime. Rooms very nice too, comfy beds, large bathrooms, Molton Brown toiletries; and they have an old billiard room to use as and when.

Cons:

Nothing major but given how often we have now stayed here, there is never any reference to that - like welcome back, or some ‘memory’ of a preference from before. We are taken through the same procedures every time when we arrive and I found that a bit off putting this time. It would be a nice, personal touch that doesn’t cost anything but simply enhances the experience, and other hotels of this category do it.

5つ星の価値はハード面以上にスタッフの質が決定的だと思うが、その点からも、このホテルは5つ星に相応しい。
Pros:

素晴らしいスタッフ、サービス、そしてもちろん建物

Cons:

あえて言えばスタッフの90％は素晴らしい。しかし100％ではない。

Pretty setting but little sleep.
Pros:

The setting and lobby area are beautiful. The staff were wonderful and greeted us with a delicious glass of sparkling wine. Also, the bistro was very tasty!

Cons:

The room was very dated and did not match the entry area. The bed was hard as a rock, making it almost impossible to sleep. Also, the hotel is over a busy flight path.

Sehr enttäuschend
Pros:

Die Betten und die Kissen waren miserabel, so dass wir nicht in den Schlaf finden konnten. Auch die Bedingungen beim Duschen im Bad waren vorsintflutlich, da in der sehr engen, erhöht gebauten Duschkabine nur ein sehr schwacher Duschstrahl / Rinnsal aus dem Duschkopf kam und die Wassertemperatur kaum zu regulieren war und leider nicht auf "kalt" einzustellen war (eher deutlich zu heiß). Auch mangelt es an einer funktionierenden Klimaanlage (verbaut war nur ein lärmendes "Ungetüm" von Wärmegerät an der Wand unter dem Außenfenster).
Leider konnten wir uns auf unserer langen Reise von Sylt nach München hier nicht wie erhofft im Rahmen eines schönen, exklusiven Zwischenstopps erholen und waren insgesamt sehr enttäuscht.
Wirklich schade und nicht adäquat für ein 5-Sterne-Schloßhotel!

Unerträgliche heiße Zimmer.
Pros:

Tolles altes Schloss, aber leider keine moderne Haustechnik.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat für Sommertage keine ausreichende Klimaanlage. Die Temperaturen in unseren drei Nächten betrugen bei voller Klimaanlage 27,28 und 29 Grad im Raum. Insofern war an Schlaf eher nicht zu denken.
