Good stay, but with a few issues.
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast is quite basic, but it has everything you need. The staff were brilliant and provided excellent service. Also, the shower was great.

Cons:

We were put in a basement room on level -1. The room didn’t have a window, so there was no fresh air circulating, and there was a musty smell that put a bit of a dampener on our experience. The bed wasn't great either—the springs were quite noisy and felt loose. These are small details, but I think there is definitely room for improvement on the points mentioned.

A nice short stay in a good location, great for a night out.
Pros:

Small but comfortable room. Good use of space to squeeze in a decent shower. Bed not too bad at all. Opposite Kensington Gardens and well positioned near the very bohemian Bayswater/Queensway for breakfast or just off the Bayswater Road taking you into London attractions, Soho, Theatreland, etc., for the evening. Warm, friendly staff.

Cons:

The hotel has recently changed names so a little tricky to find, even for cabbies. And the Bayswater Road traffic is a nightmare though that's hardly the hotel's fault - you can't hear it, but allow time for your journey into the attractions if going by cab. Ideally, take the tube from nearby Queensway or Bayswater (five min walk).
