Nice friendly hosts. Lovely establishment and amenities.
Bin wasn't cleaned and food from previous guests in the fridge.
Location,cleanliness, breakfast was good..
Room very small as was bathroom
Nice picturesque building.
No atmosphere in the bar and restaurant felt more like a cafeteria. Drinks hugely overpriced
The staff was very friendly. The rooms were well equipped.
I had asked fire my shower head to be looked at because it wasn’t very clean. Staff told me it would get looked at but later that evening there was no difference. Unsure if it was looked at or not.
Friendly Staff room was clean Restaurant food was nice
Restaurant price a little expensive
Location.
Staff was q
The breakfast was fine absolutely brilliant location for a wedding or a function the gym and the sauna's swimming pool is it an easy location and clean
To make sure the Small Things like the ironing board were fixed show ahead fixed but apart from that the rooms were clean and well-maintained
The property looks really nice from the outside and the is outdoor spaces to enjoy good for party’s and events
I was very disappointed with my stay. The suite had cigarette burns on the carpet and furniture. The furniture its self was dated and in need of repair. The room had a strong stale cigarette smell. The windows were locked, so there was no way to let in any fresh air or improve the ventilation. Air conditioning wasn’t working there was however a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom but it had no way to release the hot air so it was useless it actually heated the room instead of cooling it.
The second room we booked overlooked the hotel's kitchen, and the smell of Indian food being cooked drifted into the room. Combined with the lack of ventilation, this made the stay quite unpleasant.
Overall, the rooms did not feel clean or comfortable, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
Clean and the air con was on all over well needed
The room was very good, nice ensuite, large TV, comfortable bed, plenty of charging points and power etc. The pool was also good but small. The staff all seemed very friendly. The breakfast was good with a large assortment of foods
The restaurant seemed to specialise in indian foods, as we had had a curry at home the night before we decided to pick something from the limited traditional english menu. We ordered the fish and chips and unfortunately it did not come up to our expectations. The fish was very dry and slightly over cooked, the chips were cooked in the same fat as some of the indian foods and they had an aftertaste of curry. The fish and chips were served in a metal basket and the peas in a small round container. It was impossible to remove the peas from the container without them rising out of the container and going all over the table, and because the fish and chips were served in a basket not a plate you could not dispense the peas from their container onto your plate. It all looked well presented it was just not practical for eating, and for the money did not present good value. The waitress did not ask if we were happy with our meal at any time even when we asked for the bill.
Nice location lovely building and facilities
Found the dining table a bit rocky
Staff were amazing. When you walk in looks lovely but rooms very small. Spa pool even smaller. We arrived and we're told we could not use hotel bar facilities even for cold drinks until 7pm as 2 weddings were using facilities.
Then the iron in room was unclean and old and it burnt my dress as temperature wasn't working on iron.
Then came breakfast. Arrived 9ish and it was very quiet but no tables set up. No cups, fresh food, basically dirty tables or staff that did not even bother to acknowledge us. Which is a shame as rest of staff were lovely outside of restaurant.
This was suppose to be a wedding anniversary treat. We wanted to treat & spoil ourselves. You totally miss informed us of the total restrictions that you put in place for anyone not part of the 2 weddings.
