Good central position with safe onsite parking. Arrived early but welcomed, and checked in by a charming young lady. A credit to the hotel. Other members of the staff were equally friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Great location for Saumur, easy walking distance of the town, the chateau and crémant tasting.
Pros:

The location is perfect, just over the bridge from the city so very easy to access.

Pros:

Netter Empfang, Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Parkplatz (12€) geschlossen und überdacht. Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluß, gute Lage.

Low angled beams in the room and expensive car parking

The room was clean. The view was good (third floor)

Cons:

The room layout meant that the bed was too close to a sloping beam which made it dangerous when standing up from the bed. The air conditioning seemed unable to cope with high temperatures and kept resetting itself to 24 degrees, when I had set it to 19 degrees. The hotel website advertises a car park, which is one of the reasons why I chose it. I was disappointed to discover that the car park costs 12 Euros per day and wish I had known that before booking. Finally the cold water runs warm to hot before eventually running cold

Perfect venue for visiting the town and secure parking.
Pros:

We have been staying at the Adagio since the mid '80s (when it was the Roi Reins), so know it well, undercover parking was a necessity, plus its location was close enough o the town centre. for us to walk there and enjoy the ambience.

Cons:

Exceedingly hot weather during our stay and upon requesting ice - they only had 6 ice cubes available ! Otherwise the marks for the hotel would have been a "10".

Pros:

It’s a nice hotel, with AC which was crucial in the middle of a heat wave in France. The rooms are basic but comfortable. I love how they care about the environment, providing glass bottles for you to refill instead of disposable plastic bottles.

Cons:

The rooms don’t have fridge and the suckets are outdated.
