Ms. J who checked me in is always nice. The was reactive to my issues and responded fast. The location is amazing. Close to beach and restaurants.
1st room: bed broken, lights in bathroom didn't work, ants in room on desk.
2nd room: ants in bathroom, mold in shower, ac units was EXTREMELY LOUD,
Big gap under door and uninsulated windows and doors aided in noise from outside being heard.
Maintenance person at checkin was very unprofessional to discuss payroll issues with front desk clerk in front of me. He and the owner were very dismissive when I checked out and was describing my issues and why I was not going to stay another night. Makes me believe it was a regular thing
Continental breakfast had a good variety of breads and juice and coffees . Yogurt was very good but the machine did not work some days.

Toaster needs to be moved to another place so that people can use it without blocking the coffee machine .
Upon arrival the hotel smelled like rotting fish, and when we went up to our room, it was so dusty like it had not been touched in months. When I alerted the staff About these facts and asked for a refund, the young lady laughed at me and told me her manager didn’t give refunds. Long story short, we left, called the manager in the morning and explained that he needed to give us a refund since we didn’t stay or I would contact best western of course after this he was very happy to give us a refund. If you are looking for a safe place to stay with your family, this is not it.
The location was perfect and parking was also available.The staffs were accommodating and worth your money given the location of the place.
I liked the location.
The a/c unit was dirty, I got sick because of the dust and debris.
I liked how clean the suite was, the close proximity to the beach, the friendliness of the staff, and the large free parking spaces.
The induction stove did not work despite trying several of the provided pots and pans.
I was aware of the continental breakfast and throughly enjoyed the waffle and fruit station.
However, having less sugary and bread based options would be much healthier as a lot of the breakfast options were too sweet (yogurt, pastries, cereals, jam).

The location was excellent, very close to the beach and boardwalk. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice convenience for our family.
The property is a little older and some areas could use updating. However, overall we had a pleasant stay.
Short walk to the beach
Hard to find parking spaces,several small cars were parked in two spaces.
I love the staff at this hotel, as well as how close it is to the beach for the value that I pay compared to other properties nearby. The only hotel I consistently stay at in Virginia Beach.
My only complaint is there’s hardly any water pressure, especially at the sink. And also the fan in the bathroom didn’t work.
