Disaster. Overpriced underwhelming and lacking .
Pros:

The only good thing was reasonable food

Cons:

No aircon. A simple fan which was useless. The room was stifling Like a sauna. Hotel completely overpriced. For these prices I would have expected at a minimum water in room and a biscuit at least. Hugely disappointed. A small hot room. No lift to first floor. Isn’t this illegal now. Surely access is important. Difficult to carry a suitcase up steep stairs. No help from staff.

I'd come again, no problem.
Pros:

Food was good, bar was good.

Cons:

Too hot - only small fans and the windows don't open far enough in a heat wave. I know there are security/safety issues around open windows, but as we get hotter summers this is an area that needs re-examining. For example - maybe windows that open inwards with external shutters?

Downstairs areas are modern and stylish but rooms are unpleasantly warm at night with no air conditioning.
Pros:

Unfortunately a bit of a disappointing stay…
Hotel has undergone a refurbishment of the downstairs areas over last 18 months making these spaces now feel modern and stylish. Bedrooms however are very stuffy, hot and without either air conditioning or windows that open fully. It wasn’t especially hot outside during our stay but rooms were thoroughly unpleasant to be in at night with a small fan the only way to generate any air flow.
Food in the restaurant was good although service wasn’t particularly friendly.
Not a stay that was in keeping with the high performance environment that the University portrays.

Pros:

Dreadful
Pros:

Food ok

Cons:

No aircon. Rooms line saunas. Rooms overpriced. No water/biscuits in rooms. Would never stay here again. It was a hot time and a single fan in the room was insufficient. The price of the rooms were grossly overpriced for the rooms. Premier Inns have larger rooms at half the price.

Great use of leisure facilities but room was too hot. Be mindful when booking during hot weather
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Had little time to enjoy it but this was on us being pressed. The choice was quite broad. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the use of the leisure facilities.

Cons:

The room was very hot and there is no AC. A small fan was provided but with just a small window available, on the roof of the building and with the amount of carpet and soft furnishing in the room, we had quite a baked night with little sleep.
