L'hôtel est très bien avec une grande piscine. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Les chambres sont propre et spacieuses.
L'hôtel dispose d'une navette qui fait des allers/retours toutes les heures pour Sorrente.

Prachtige ligging, fijn zwembad. Ruime kamers, schoon en vriendelijk personeel, mogelijkheid tot parkeren van de auto bij het hotel.

The shuttle bus was very handy .

The facilities and the comfort

We have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel, slightly out of the centre of Sorrento town but not a problem as they provide a free shuttle bus service. We had a nice room on the 4th floor, great views, everything we needed including tea/coffee making facilities and a large balcony with table, chairs and 2 sunlounger's.

All the staff that we met were all very friendly, helpful and hard working, the hotel is kept very clean. We went half board and found the food to be plentiful and nice, the staff make an extra effort on Sunday for the Gala dinner which we really enjoyed.

The pool area is spotless with plenty of loungers, pool towels and a bar area, the pool was also heated whilst we were there.

We went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we really enjoyed our week, so much so we have already booked to return next April.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel and all the staff that we met.

Had a wonderful week in early April. All staff excellent from reception, cleaners to bar staff an waiters.
Food also very very good, some dishes superb.
Shuttle service excellent, and runs from 9am to 11pm on the hour into town and 15 min past the hour back. Approx 10 min drive

Weather was not great so we didn't use the pool but it did look lovely.

Our room was lovely, quite large and a huge balcony

My wife has a severe peanut and nut allergy and the restaurant staff handled superbly and loads of options. She felt very safe

We loved our stay, the staff were so attentive and made us feel so looked after. The hotel was spotless and the attention to detail was great.

The hotel is medium in size and situated in a remote location in the hills above Sorrento.

The good- The location is quiet and has lots of space around the large quiet pool. If you want a quiet break with a nice setting and not much to do then this is great.

The hotel is very clean, the public areas are always spotless and the room cleaning is good although often late in the day.

The bad- we had a couple of bad staff experiences, because the hotel is remote you really rely on the bus. One day we went to pick up the 12 o'clock bus but it wasn't open, I went to reception to be told the driver is having his lunch, he won't be long. Nobody cared the bus wouldn't go on time,.no one said how long we would have to wait. They just didn't care, it wasn't so bad for us at the hotel but that meant that the people in Sorrento would be stood in baking hot weather waiting for a bus that didn't arrive. They would have no idea when or even if the bus would turn up. Only after going into reception a further two times did someone eventually go get the driver 15 minutes late who was.really chippy when he eventually turned up. In that scenario the hotel guest came last in their thoughts.and that's never acceptable. Another time we went to reception to pay our drinks bill and tourist tax as we were leaving early the next morning. The man on reception just refused, "no, you can't do it today, it's too difficult, just come back tomorrow". Only when I insisted did he bother to do what we wanted. It took him 1 minute and he was literally doing nothing, he just couldn't be bothered. .
He later apologised but it was symptomatic of an attitude where the staff are doing you a favour just providing the very basic services you have paid for.

The ugly- The hotel has a pretty basic buffet for breakfast, it's Fine but lacking cooked options, where the hotel really falls down is in the evening meal. The menu in theory changes every day yet every day it feels the same. There is limited choice that is very pasta and tomato sauce heavy with a fish and a meat option. I was excited for the food as the reviews were so good before we came. I simply don't understand it. Maybe they have changed some thing very recently but the food choice , quality and cooking was poor, I would even go as far as saying incredibly poor. It's OK if you love pasta and sauce, there's loads of that but all the meat options were the very cheapest cuts of meat cooked incredibly badly.

We tried the beef steak option. I have no idea what cut of beef it was but it tasted like a liver sole of a shoe, we had the fish and chips one night.... OMG, it was like a Tesco value breaded fish served in a plate with a potato dish that may well be the worst thing I had ever eaten. It's difficult to describe but it the "chips" were whole potatoes that I think he been cooked for a previous meal, left for a few days then chucked in the over for 10 mins to get Luke warm. They were absolutely foul.and not even the same planet as chips!
Another evening I had the chicken escallop in breadcrumbs. When it arrived it was tough as old boots and the chicken must have been 2mm thick. The food provided is obviously the cheapest of the cheapest possible because the quality was awful.
We have stayed in hundreds of hotels, in dozens of countries, I genuinely think this was overall the most disappointing dining experience we have had.
Every night a mediocre soup, a meal of very cheap meat served with no vegetables and a huge lettuce leaf to try and make the plate look full. The deserts were the same every night, A mouse, a fruit cocktail that was always 90% apple and maybe a single bit of kiwi or grape, cheap ice cream or a cheap cake option.. every single night the same.

On a Sunday we had the gala dinner, it was just less choice and way too long. The food was so bad we went to town and paid to eat out on a few nights and the following Sunday we had no hesitation in going into town rather than spend 2 1/2 hours on a gala dinner that was as poor as every other night. The bus into town that evening was pretty full so others felt the same as us.

The other gripe I had was about the telly, when we were there the hotel was about 85% British guests, but the television had lots of German channels. Lots of Italian and french channels but the only British channels were news channels. Seemed as though the hotel didn't go out of their way to provide for their guests.

Would I go there again, The room was fine, the location good and the pool area nice. But no way I would pay for that food again... . Go judge for yourself but if you rely on most of the reviews prepare to be disappointed.

We have just returned from this wonderful hotel. We booked it to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. All staff were so accommodating and welcoming. We had a beautiful room looking over the pool, the hotel is set in a beautiful peaceful location and is immaculately clean. Food was delicious with a good variety and food. Staff were very accommodating, if there was something you didn’t like they would always try to offer you an alternative. We were wished Happy Anniversary by the lovely restaurant manager and they treated us to a bottle of bubbles. The bus to take into the centre was perfect, running every hour and then collecting you when you were ready to return. We. Loved our stay so much we booked to come again while still there. The hotel even booked us onto a wonderful trip and sorted transport from the Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble.
We can’t wait to return next year.

This was the fourth time I have been to this hotel and it was just as good a visit as all the other times I visited. This hotel and its amazing staff never disappoint. From the second you arrive to the moment you leave they are fantastic.
