Highly recommended-and the bonus welcome drink was a nice touch!

Hotel com localização excelente, mas agora com obras não!
Pros:

A localização foi perfeito e os empregados tentaram o seu melhor. O restaurante é top!!

Cons:

O hotel está em obras, que não foi dito em lado nenhum quando fizemos a reserva. O ginásio foi desativado. Tivemos dificuldade em ligar o ar condicionado naqueles dias de 38 graus com duas crianças no quarto. Pedi logo assistência por telefone, depois foi a receção pessoalmente e só mandaram um sr de manutenção 2h depois…

Pros:

Funcionários educados, boa infraestrutura no geral, chuveiro e quarto bons.

Staff were friendly and a nice location.

Cons:

The hotel is under construction, that was not disclosed before we booked which would have influenced our hotel choice. Our room refrigerator did not work and we booked for 2 adults and a child but there was no bedding for the child sleeper.

NOVOTEL = NOGOTEL, thanks to extensive construction work that has already been going on for 2 years
Pros:

The Superior room we chose was spacious, and we really liked it. The innovative design is very appealing. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was also easy to add an extra bed for our child, and there was still plenty of room to feel at home. The staff is super friendly and very helpful—especially at the front desk and at the bar.

Cons:

Clearly, the fact is that this hotel has been undergoing extensive renovation and restoration for the past two years. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of this on booking.com, so every potential guest is booking blindly. Only the information on Accor’s official website and the hotel’s own site mentions the renovation work.

The renovation is taking place while the hotel remains open for business. As a result, every guest walks straight into a construction site as soon as they enter the lobby. Fortunately, the work in the restaurant area was completed two weeks ago, so the bar and breakfast room were available for use. In terms of design and overall look and feel, everything fit together quite well.

The conference rooms and lounge area on the first basement level—which were clearly showing their age—were an absolute disaster and an imposition. The same goes for the entrance area to the swimming pool. The hotel could have done without the Kids’ Corner entirely. Ancient, worn-out, and dirty toys—some of them broken—in what felt like a broom closet with dirty walls. Carelessly maintained and not the least bit appealing. No sense of comfort whatsoever. Construction dust everywhere, and the entrance to the swimming pool was unsecured and lacked any signs indicating ongoing work. Tiles were being cut in the outdoor area, and guests were inevitably subjected to all the construction noise, as well as direct exposure to construction dust.

An absolute NO GO! This hotel, unfortunately, unfortunately—once and NEVER AGAIN! As is so often the case, the hotel photos on booking.com give a different impression :-(

One night in Lisbona
Pros:

We stayed at the Novotel during our visit to Lisbon. The hotel is located just outside the city center, making it a convenient choice for avoiding the heavy traffic of the city while still being within easy reach of the main attractions.
Our room was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Cons:

The only downside was that the website did not mention that the gym was closed for renovation, which was disappointing. The swimming pool also felt a bit outdated and was not as appealing as expected.

Ottima posizione. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile!

Cons:

Non si può aprire la finestra per il ricircolo dell'aria nella propria stanza. Finestra chiusa a chiave per motivi di sicurezza (sesto piano).L'unico modo per "cambiare" l'aria è l'uso del condizionatore.
