We would like to inform you that renovation work is planned from February 17, 2025 to April 14, 2025.
The breakfast buffet will not be available from February 17, 2025 to 31st of March 2025.
All our rooms will be equipped with a coffee machine and a kettle. In addition to the drinks offered in the room, we are pleased to offer our guests a selection including a fruit juice and pastries.
The Beauvau bar, with its breathtaking view of the Old Port, is open to everyone, every day, from 6:30 am to midnight.
A security deposit of €100 is required upon arrival. This must be paid by credit card. The deposit will be refunded on the day of your departure. The full amount will be refunded to your credit card, subject to a damage inspection of the property.

The only plus is the location with a view of the port. And yet, there is no soundproofing. You’ll be listening to dancing at the port all night long.
I was outraged by my experience at check-in. An exceptionally smug and arrogant receptionist insisted that the security deposit could only be paid using a physical bank card, flatly refusing to accept Apple Pay. This requirement was not disclosed anywhere in the hotel's description or booking conditions.
Even more astonishingly, the receptionist explicitly stated that had I not brought a physical card, I would have been denied accommodation altogether, despite having a confirmed reservation. The employee's attitude was dismissive, rude, and thoroughly unprofessional. Such an important restriction should be clearly communicated to guests before booking, not sprung on them upon arrival.
To make matters worse, the hotel itself is outdated and desperately in need of renovation. The walls were visibly stained with what appeared to be splashes of some kind of beverage, there were signs of mold, and the overall condition of the property was shabby and poorly maintained.
For a hotel operating under the MGallery brand, this level of service and maintenance is simply unacceptable. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Super zentral am Alten Hafen.
Wir hatten ein 'Classic' Doppelzimmer gebucht, also die Standard Kategorie. Dass das bedeutet, dass wir ein Zimmer mit Blick in den Lüftungsschacht im Innenhof bekommen, habe ich nicht erwartet. Es war stockdunkel, die Belüftung hat die ganze Nacht gerauscht. Von Grand Hotel keine Spur. Das ganze Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, das Frühstücksbuffet war ok aber nichts besonderes, dafür mit 28 € recht teuer. Am meisten haben wir uns über unser dunkles und 'Aussichts-loses' Zimmer geärgert.
Amazing location. We didn’t like the room we were allocated as although larger it didn’t have the Juliet balcony shown on the photo.. just small windows. After being shown 2 other rooms we opted for a small and unrenovated rather tired and old room BUT with a balcony. And what a plus that was… morning coffee or evening drink watching the world go round in the port below. Sacrificing modern room for small tired one with balcony was well worth it!
Shame there’s no terrace from the bar but we had our own little balcony so that was ok.

Inattentive staff. Fire alarm went off while we were waiting for dinner, extremely loud and stayed on for 20 minutes. It went off again at 5:30am. We waited for a pizza for 40 minutes. Finally asked the server - he forgot to put my corner in. That was all we ordered and the place only had one other table.
Great city hotel at an excellent location at the port. Even though it is in the middle of all of the port action, our room was nice and quiet at night. Very helpful staff too. Our view of the port was outstanding.
The air conditioning worked but the room was still very warm at night. Not a deal breaker though.
