Beautiful hotel. I did not have high expectations and I was blown away.
Centrally located. Diner within walking distance with good food and prices. Staff were courteous and welcoming. On-site sundries shop. Room and public areas were clean.
Fourth floor ice machine was out of order. Bathroom fan did not work. A microwave in the room would have been convenient. Photos on the wall near the elevators included General Lee and his spouse. Where are the photos of General Grant and his spouse? “Make America Great Again” baseball cap for sale in sundries shop is not appropriate for a site that has visitors from all over the world.
The pool, gym and room were all great, the interiors of the main hotel was stylish. Beds are very comfortable
The rooms were outdated, there was no microwave and the freezer was broken in our fridge.
The biggest scorepoint of this structure is its sumptuous white lobby and the overall elegance of the corridors, with themed carpets and elegant chandeliers.
There are pictures of Gen. Lee, which is something to appreciate in these days of cancel-culture, since we are in Gettysburg and one comes here to learn about history, not to judge it.

For the money this is an OK stay.
You get it. Nothing out of the ordinary - room ok, bed ok, service ok.
What surprised me is that this hotel is priced at a premium. So for the cost you expect something out of the ordinary, but to be honest, it’s more of the same.
For example, breakfast is not free or included with the room and it’s actually quite expensive. While the food and service were good at the restaurant, it does not justify the cost.
I’ve rated this as 4 stars because it met expectations. It did not exceed.
Prima hotel met veel historische verwijzingen.
I was part of a state convention. Was a great space for the event. Rooms were conviently located to the main event hall, which was great for someone with limited mobility. The only 2 issues I saw elevators were slow and limited with so many people trying to get to there room between meetings and evening event to change, ect. And there were not enough luggage carts available I saw/heard only 2. Glad I had limited packing and only had 1 rolling suitcase and a back pack for the 4 day stay. All I could handle walking with a cane. My king size room was perfect. Only complaint the tv seemed small for room size, not that I had much time for it.
Lovely, 'colonial' stay at Wyndham .. .. Perhaps it was the time of the year but for a large property, it was very quiet and uncrowded .. .. Few cars in the parking lot and rarely came across another person staying at the hotel .. ..
FRIENDLY, HAPPY STAFF and made sure I got one of their water bottles to get fresh water .. ..

The bathroom was nice, there was an iron and ironing board, housekeeping cleaned my room and made my bed.. the hotel was nice, and decorated with historical decor.
The bed was hard, no padding, the water pressure was very weak, and the refrigerator was super small... for the price I paid of almost $500, I could have gotten a suite, and breakfast included at another hotel..
Perfect for traveling with the family dog.

This hotel had the best pillows, not super flat, it was quiet, clean, nice overall.
We only stopped overnight but it was a great experience and we would consider staying there in the future for short or longer visits.
It was very clean, the pool was huge for the kids- a little cold but fun. The furniture was comfortable and trendy with the theme of Gettysburg.

Wanted to stay another night.orignial only booked one night . On the first night I asked the front desk to if I could book another night the following night and they said yes and did some.stuff on the computer. Then the next morning I didn't see any charge to my bank and checked with the front desk and they never booked it . So.i lost another night .
The property is beautifully decorated and always clean. They allow pets but the rooms are still fresh and clean. It’s great that they have an indoor pool.
My only wish would be to have a microwave in the room for heating leftovers. Otherwise, it’s great!
