Cute & cozy
Pros:

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Alles war super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und die Betten extrem bequem. Das Haus hatte eine ganz tolle Terrasse und wir haben es sehr genoßen. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein, nachmittags gab es sogar super leckere Keckse und Kaffee den ganzen Tag !

Pros:

Small selection but lovely breakfast, the bed room was very comfy and I slept very well. The staff was lovely and helpful. If I am ever in the area I would stay again without thinking. Location is great.

Cons:

Shower was a bit weak but I'm being fussy as every else was delightful.

Pros:

I can not speak highly enough about the Marshall slocum Inn. The owner and employees that greated us upon arrival were polite and welcoming. We stayed in the cottage and were overwhelmed with how clean and beautiful it was. It was the perfect size, the bathroom was beautiful and the bedding was very cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of parking available on site, and the grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The Inn is also within walking distance of plenty of places for shopping and dinning . The owner will also help you set up reservations or help you with directions, and recommendations for food and shopping. Newport is very beautiful and offers a lot of attractions and history so when booking this is the place to stay!

Beautiful Inn in Newport
Pros:

Beautiful Inn, we stayed in the cottage in the garden which was delightful and private. Very friendly owner and staff, freshly made pastries were delicious for breakfast. Easy 10 minute walk into the main shopping areas and harbour front in Newport.

One of the coziest places we’ve ever stayed
Pros:

One of the best properties we’ve ever stayed. Felt like home. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable. The dining/breakfast area is cozy and inviting. We happened to be there during some rainy days and really enjoyed staying in drinking some tea and playing board games.

Cons:

The breakfast could have a little bit more options like eggs or vegetables but was good anyway.

Love this gem! It’s located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The inn is beautiful! Our room was very comfortable. Love the large bathroom with great toiletries and robes. It’s lovely sitting outside for breakfast. Free parking in back of the inn.

We loved our stay so much that we have already booked for another visit in October.
Pros:

The property was beautiful and very close to the center of everything that Newport has to offer. Free ample parking behind the Inn. Complementary continental breakfast provided.

Cons:

There was no TV in our room which was somewhat disappointing.
