Enjoyable
Pros:

Really enjoyed the music by the bar, he was really good. All the stuff was was nice.

Cons:

We were 5 adults for breakfast, no effort was made by the stuff to help us put the tables together, which I believe they should have

What a quality hotel, great location to not only beach but town right at your doorstep behind you.
The views are as good as you will get anywhere, and only less than one minute to swim in the ocean.
Great staff, fantastic breakfast !

Aufenthalt war top, die Reinigungskräfte sind auch wirklich sehr bemüht & freundlich. Sie leisten alle tolle Arbeit.

Es war direkt am Meer, man war gleich im Zentrum, Frühstück war lecker

Cons:

Sonnenliege musste man bei Bedarf trotzdem zahlen.

Fantastic location with beautiful beach views

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, with fantastic views overlooking the beach.

All of the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day, with fresh towels provided daily.

We only booked bed and breakfast, so I can only comment on the breakfast, but there was plenty of choice and everything we tried was delicious. There is also a lovely balcony next to the dining area overlooking the beach, which is a perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the view.

Our room was lovely and had everything we needed, including a free-to-use key safe, fridge and coffee-making machine. I requested a kettle, and it was waiting for us in the room when we returned just an hour later, which was a lovely touch.

The shower was also excellent.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A beautiful location, lovely staff and a very comfortable hotel.

Cons:

I cannot find a fault in the Hotel Sol e Mar at all. I would definitely recommend it and will be staying there again.

The hotel is in a great location and it has great food. I would recommend it to family and friends.
Pros:

We loved both meals ( breakfast and dinner) and the lounge bar/ piano music. We loved the easy access to the beautiful beach and how near the hotel was to local shops bars and restaurants. I would have liked tissues/kleenex in the bathroom or bedroom. The carpet in the dining room area needs to be replaced. The floor tiling in our bathroom looked old and needs some repairs ( Room 313) The dining room staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved out stay in beautiful Albufeira.

Cons:

No Kleenex/ tissues in the room. No body or hand lotion in the bathroom. Some of the front desk staff seemed stressed out and over worked.

The dining staff at both breakfast and dinner were genuinely warm and friendly

Cons:

First room we got the air conditioner not working which made the room uncomfortably warm Room on the 4th floor. Female host in reception very rude and not helpful. Then we were placed in a room directly in the main thoroughfare, making it extremely noisy as people constantly walked past Room 104 .Basic housekeeping requests were missing. We were not provided with extra towels or additional coffee pods during our stay.The hotel is quite dated and old-fashioned throughout. Additionally, one of the lifts was not working so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs.
Not a 4 stars hotel at all.
