Bathroom door didn't quite shut.
I also stayed in the New Continental Hotel last year and on both visits I have been really pleased that I chose to do so.
I have met with the Reception, restaurant, cleaning and nights shift staff and found them all to be welcoming, helpful and friendly.
The 2 rooms I have stayed in were both bright, airy, clean and comfy. I had plenty of space too.
For breakfast I would always have a full English and each one was tasty and freshly cooked to order. Also available were toast, ‘help yourself' cereals, fresh made (real not tinned) fruit salad, yoghurts, Danish etc etc.
The hotel is in a perfect walking distance for the things I want to do - town centre, Theatre Royal, The Box, Drake Circus, Plymouth Ho! The Barbican and swimming off the terraces adjacent to the Tinside Lido.
I think the hotel is really good value for money and the next time I go to Plymouth I will definitely be staying there again.
