Pros:

The staff are helpful and efficient. Breakfast is excellent. If low level maintenance issues are highlighted, they're addressed promptly.

Cons:

Quitte a few of the windows are clouded and need replacing but that's pretty trivial.

Pros:

Breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful

Cons:

My room was very warm and I couldn’t open the windows (due to safety) and the radiator in the bathroom was on high and I couldn’t turn it down/off. I know it was unseasonably warm but it was really too hot with no way of reducing the heat.

My stay was just what I needed and enjoyable.
Pros:

The room was a good size, clean and well maintained. The staff were always very personable and professional. The breakfast was well prepared and the dinners were excellent. The on site spa and pool also made it a great choice to allow one to unwind.

Cons:

The noise from traffic was sustained due to a busy junction, but you have to balance this against the sash windows and being able to maintain the ambience of a traditional hotel. However, the noise was not unreasonable for the centre of a large town.

Will never stay here again
Pros:

Food was delicious

Cons:

Swimming pool closed really early on a Saturday night- my daughter was distraught.
We came down for dinner only to find they had closed the restaurant for 2 hours to cater for a large event elsewhere in the hotel. Reception did not tell us this as we checked in. We were eventually allowed to order from the bar menu and then eat in the restaurant but it was all very stressful.
The windows must have been single pane because it was so loud outside. Hotel is near to a nightclub, loud cars, beeping horns , partygoers. Last time I checked the time it was 1.30 am.
Then a drunk guest banged on our bedroom door and tried to get into our room at 3.30 am. He scared the daylights out of us screaming at us to let him in. Our daughter is still very traumatised by this and will not sleep alone. It was all very traumatic. He was apparently on the wrong floor. Thank God for the night receptionist - he raced upstairs very quickly to deal with the drunken man . He was a real hero.
No one slept again after this as adrenaline was raging. We only stayed here for an Argyle football tournament.
Will never stay here again.

Pros:

Room was well setup for families and I would recommend anyone with teens to use it, the Hotel was fine although the staff were not attentive and we did have to get one of her phone!

Cons:

EV Chargers did not work in the carpark - although not part of the Hotel just a shared service, the staff's phones were very interesting - certainly more than us at times.

Pros:

Ideal location and great breakfast. Staff were friendly and the room was clean altho the carpet had large burns in it.

Cons:

Rang the property before hand to book a walk in shower. They said it was available for me so I thought I booked it. Apparently I never so had a shower over the bath which I couldn’t use due to a hip operation. Ruined my stay.

Pros:

Great location - excellent friendly staff.

Cons:

Little bit pricy for the room but it was Plymouth Half Marathon and a wedding.
Staff extremely helpful when swapping my room for no extra charge after my booking mistake.
