Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage. Parkplatz in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage zum sehr günstigen Preis war Topp!
Friendliness of staff was a highlight as was the comfiness of the bed.
The hotel was good but the free car park was terrible. It was dark and full of pigeons with the inevitable consequences. We worried about leaving our car there.
The hotel is very central right, and many of the rooms, bars, etc. have made the most of the river view. Our twin room was on the 5th floor so we also had a small balcony looking over the river which was a lovely bonus. Staff are very helpful and professional. There is a multi-level basement carpark also which is really handy. Beautiful buffet breakfast with plenty of choices Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing.
Probably our favorite hotel stay in Ireland. Big rooms, comfortable bed and a great central Sligo location.
Nothing to dislike.
Very nice and comfortable, with AC
Very friendly yet professional staff. The food was excellent and service was speedy. Hotel is perfectly located to enjoy views of the river, but a mere 50M into Sligo town. It was spotlessly clean and everything in the room worked - other hotels in the vicinity take note!
The Glass House will definitely be my new go-to for my regular trips to Sligo. Thank you
Very minor gripe - the lifts are busy and very slow as a consequence. The only reason this was an issue was because I was travelling by motorcycle and carrying luggage wearing heavy bike gear, it made it a hot process. But thats a very niche problem!
Fantastic location on the river . Big spacious room with a balcony . Very modern . Spotless . Staff we very willing to help
Nothing
Staff were polite & very helpful
Hotel in general was clean, well laid out, ideal location at only 5 minutes from bus/train station with a wonderful view over the river
Room was spacious, great range of tv stations available and free snacks are always a bonus.
Arrived quite late for dinner but everything was still available, with a very helpful waiting staff, and pasta was delicious
Breakfast had an extensive choice of cooked and continental options, cereals and juices
Late check out at 12 was ideal for holding my luggage , last minute refreshing, before heading home
Only slightly negative would be the noise.
As with most hotels, the other guests closing doors at all hours was diistracting
Also there was a frustirating buzz from the fuse box for most of the night
I had an issue with the wifi too, with intermittent connection in the room, but maybe it was an issue from my devices
The location was amazing and picturesque
The hotel was tired and had so much potential
Roisin, who served our breakfast was the saving grace...she was sweetest little thing and a jewel in a somewhat grubby tired crown ...she gave us a whole history of the beaches and nearby harbour.
Asset to the hotel
On arrival unexpected car parking fees
Checked into room after a five hour journey and went straight to the bathroom, as you do.... washing hands only to discover dirty towels
Carpet in the room was old and brown. View was of back of office building rather than the spectacular river .... disappointing
Breakfast was mediocre and restaurant floor under our table was filthy. I didn't eat either morning of our 2 day stay.
We stayed as the last stop of many on the Wild Atlantic Way in July 2026. Facilities, food and staff excellent. Also a good modern hotel in central Sligo town/City just right for a one night stay or week-end.
It was hard to find way into underground parking on a hot day mid afternoon. What did not help was some road works close to hotel so was hard to get back to missed left turn which the signage gave little notice . Also tight spaces and unknown parking area.
Lovely location and outdoor area
Its pricey
