Fabulous birthday experience
Pros:

Have stayed here several times and each time it just gets better. Feel right at home. The service from everyone is amazing. Love it!!! ❤️

Fix the room key card system!
Pros:

Management/owners are clueless! Fix your room keycard system! Bring it to the 21st century please.

Had to go downstairs 4 times in 24 hours due to the faulty old system to ask for a new card.

We had a group of 12 with us and everyone was complaining.

The suspicion is that they actually time-out, and it’s not actually a magnetization issue. My card was with my shoes the entire day. (They don’t have magnets in them)

Won’t be staying here in the future ownership spends the money to upgrade the system.

Upgrade the system, and I’ll make it 5 Stars!

Would stay here again and definitely would recommend the Glasshouse for a stay in Sligo
Pros:

The staff here are amazing- service is top notch! Breakfast was great and the staff went out of their way for our vegetarian friend, making sure that she had a great selection and experience.

Cons:

Dinner wasn’t brilliant but ok.

A bit mean and lack of soundproofing
Pros:

Extra charge if you want a Americano/cappuccino for breakfast. I stay in hotels on a regular basis for work and it is several years ago that I was last asked to pay extra. I could also hear next door neighbours hair dryer early in the morning. Otherwise staff are nice and room is clean and spacious with a nice balcony.

Erstklassiges Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich in zentraler Lage unmittelbar am Fluss. Die v. uns bewohnte Juniorsuite war groß und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und gut. Das Servicepersonal war in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich. Kostenloses geparkt haben wir in einem in unmittelbarer Nähe befindlichen Parkhaus. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Central Gem in Sligo
Pros:

We were a three generation family and spent four days at the Glasshouse hotel. it was a central location for Sligo and for the golf courses we were visiting in Western Ireland. The property is modern looking, conveniently located and has reasonably sized rooms with views - if you happen to be on the River side.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the bar food and evening food were very good; staff were attentive and although it is pricey – it is worth it.
