Incredible warm, cozy and beautiful hotel in a great location!
Pros:

This is one of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed in. The old colonial feel is exactly what we were looking for in San Miguel.

Cons:

We needed more variety at breakfast with a 4 day stay. The food was excellent. Just needed a bit more choices.

Stunning property in the most beautiful place!
Pros:

The location was incredible on the prettiest street in SMA and the property is stunning! Our room was so beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant was delicious, the fresh onsite juices were a huge plus, and the handmade soaps were a nice touch. We would definitely stay again!

Cons:

I don’t have any complaints, but one thing I will just note is that the sound proofing on the room doors was pretty poor, but it didn’t detract from our stay at all!

Not What Expected
Pros:

The property is beautiful and the location is good. It's a short walk into the center of town and all the great restaurants. The food was also very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful with getting a taxi.

Cons:

The room was not as expected. We paid extra for a Master Suite. Our room had NO windows! There was no table and only 1 chair to sit downstairs. There was an extra daybed in the loft. So little room for us to move around. In addition, the toilet ran VERY SLOWLY. It clogged up once so we had to put the toilet paper in the trash can. Towards the end of our stay, the housekeeping got very lax and didn't even change out the towels that were on the floor. In addition, the AC/Heater sounded like a dog whining every time it went off. By the time we got to our 5th night, we couldn't wait to leave. It was definitely not worth $375/night! It was such a shame as I thought I booked a special place for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately with our experience, we would not return again. I don't think it's worth paying extra for a Master Suite. The room definitely did not match the photos!
