Beautiful, elegant, and full of history—an unforgettable stay.
Pros:

We absolutely loved this historic property. Every room is beautifully preserved with elegant antique furniture, making it feel like stepping back in time while still being exceptionally clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the information about the history and design of the bed in our room. The service was outstanding—the staff warmly welcomed us, offered us afternoon tea and cheese when they knew we were hungry, and even gave us a personal tour of the property. The location couldn’t be better, within easy walking distance of Charleston’s historic attractions. It was truly a memorable experience.

Fabulous Charleston stay
Pros:

A stunning property full of charm in a superb location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't huge but had all we needed with a very comfortable bed and excellent AC. Complimentary bottled water available 24/7.

Cons:

The breakfast was ok- the fruit, coffee and juice were good, the pastries were average- the room it is served in was beautiful though.

Stylish but lacking the finer touch
Pros:

The building, its style, location and furnishings

Cons:

The breakfast was cheap, fast food style, tasteless (apart from the fruit and yoghurt) and not fitting the classiness of the venue. Being served tea in fine china with a wooden stirrer and being given disposable cups in our bedroom was disappointing
