Basic, functional, overpriced
Pros:

Friendly staff, good view. Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

Basic room facilities, poor housekeeping (room was not clean and rubbish from previous occupants were not cleaned out during the entire period of my stay). Water did not drain in the bathroom, poor shower

Pros:

Breakfast very good. Location easy 20 minute walk from central station. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Elevator a bonus after a long days of sightseeing.

An awesome view of the city, a quiet and comfortable room, but uneven communication with staff.
Pros:

Our room was quiet and comfortable after long days touring Amsterdam. We would have enjoyed a more robust selection of viewing options on the TV, like full length movies or movie channels. We got a bit confused about the environmentally sensitive messaging from housekeeping. If we don't want the towels changed every day we simply hang them up at home hotels, but housekeeping still comes in to make up the beds and tidy up. The Movenpick message seemed to say 'we won't come by at all if you hang the sign on the door.' Water refills every day didn't happen because of that, I guess.

Cons:

We left our boat in the rain and walked to the hotel. We were very drenched when we got to the hotel and asked for early check in. Then I was asked, "Do you want an upgrade?" "No", I said. I was a bit confused about what an upgrade would accomplish. An early check in? So we waited till 3pm. The front desk seemed very indifferent, but the guy at the concierge desk was very helpful to us, securing our bags till check in and offering information.
Housekeeping did not speak English, so we were unable to communicate with them as we don't speak Dutch.

Pros:

Die Lage war super. Das Hotel war gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen und vor Ort alles entspannt zu Fuß oder z. B. via hop on hop of per Bus und Schiff erreichbar, die Straßenbahn hält vor der Haustür. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und trotz der vielen Gäste kam nie Stress auf. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Frühstück ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Den tollen Blick vom 20. Stock auf die Stadt möchte ich auch noch hervor heben, das haben wir sehr genossen.

Wir haben nichts zu meckern!

Posizione non centralissima ma con fermata tram molto vicina. Ti consente di arrivare alla stazione centrale in 2 minuti. Il servizio ottimo!
