Our company has chosen for us to stay at the Shanghai Conrad when we are in town. The hotel rooms are nicely proportioned and always at a comfortable temperature. The bed is comfortable with a variety of pillows offered to cater to guests’ needs.
The gym is probably my favorite part as it’s quite spacious and it has plenty of gym equipment to get a good workout in. Really appreciate the 24hr access.
Staff is always very welcoming and attentive to our needs, offering to personally walk us to the elevators as as Ms. Rosemary can be seen taking care of the hotel guests. The front desk ladies and gentlemen are also quite helpful. Staff ability to speak English is a welcomed amenity.
The hotel is amazing but Rosemary went above and beyond to make my stay as amazing as possible. Any need I had she was able to make it happen even on short notice. Highly recommend coming here!

Very good location and breakfast but very poor housekeeping. Basic amenities for 3 people not provided. No extra towels or water or toiletries not given for the extra person. Inspite of complaining everyday to manager no change. Extremely disappointed. Needed to go to airport at 4.30 am asked for towel at 3.45 am did not receive till 4.15 am. I feel this makes it more a 3 star than a 5 star. It’s the basic amenities and service they lack.

Wonderful hotel to stay. Very good position to everything including the subway. Staff have been outstanding. A big shout out to Rosmary who was manning the lift to help you out. She was a credit to the hotel and has incredible knowledge of the shanghai district. She went up and above to make you feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble to help. We will definitely be coming back to the hotel next time in Shanghai.

I had a wonderful stay at the Conrad Shanghai. The hotel is elegant, comfortable, and very well located, but what really stood out was the warmth and friendliness of the service throughout my visit.
A special mention goes to Rosemary, the concierge/elevator assistant, who was absolutely exceptional. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and she went out of her way to provide great recommendations during my stay. Her kindness and attention to detail made the experience feel personal and truly memorable.
The team at the Conrad Shanghai helped make the stay smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable from start to finish. Rosemary in particular made the stay just perfect, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai.
