Good location for car day trips and nicely appointed hotel and helpful staff.
Pros:

Large and airy. Had its own parking garage at the facility. Restaurant available, vending, small kitchenette with fridge in our suite. Good daily service.

Cons:

Our room faced west so we got lots of afternoon sun and we had a string of very hot days. There was no A/C or fans. The two windows at each end of a large curved set of windows hardly opened and with lots of drapery it was hard to get air flowing. Was a bit warm and uncomfortable at night. Otherwise a very nice room.

Well run hotel with very friendly staff.
Pros:

Very friendly staff from Reception to Cleaning to the Dining Room. Great breakfast. Good and varied Dinner Menu. Super Parking beside the hotel.

Cons:

More like 'hated' rather than not like. That was the Bath/Shower. Tricky getting in and out and no flexible shower hose was a disappointment. Otherwise....

Excellent standard hotel
Pros:

The hotel is excellent standard, great location great parking. Rooms were beautifully clean and had a fridge and good shower. Rooms were wasn’t too hot.

Cons:

The restaurant was really expensive. I wasn’t looking for a dining experience and there was no other cheaper option.
And the Hotel bar is only waiting area for the restaurant, zero ambience. Not a place to just have a drink and chill out after touring the sights for the day.

Location and general cleanliness of the hotel. Staff were super friendly and nice

Cons:

Value of prices. To supplement fries (already included with the main course) with sweet potato fries had an additional charge. Options for tea/coffee for breakfast were included but an additional charge for a cappucino. It was lukewarm and cost 4.20e, I wouldnt have bothered. Service was slow both at dinner and breakfast but place was busy. We had to ask several times for our food or drinks

Comfortable stay in a very clean hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Lovely staff. Cleanliness. Beautiful varied breakfast with friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Fluffy white towels. TV reception very good. Excellent parking facilities.

Cons:

Only thing was the noise from the busy road. Should have asked for a room at the back of the hotel. Will know the next time.

Beautiful hotel in Castlebar, close to everything.
Pros:

Room was very spacious, beds were very comfortable and the facilities were clean.

Cons:

Could of done with a fan in the room!

The staff were so friendly and helpful from checking In at reception right through the hotel the service was exceptional the hotel is lovely really clean and the food is very good I'll definitely be back

Disappointing
Pros:

It was a very smart hotel, great bar and great food with very easy access to the theatre at the rear

Cons:

Unfortunately across the road from the hotel is a McDonald’s and petrol station which was a hub for half a dozen boy racers who tore up and down the road until 3am in the morning with super loud exhausts that kept us awake so we had a poor nights sleep
