Geweldig verblijf, kost wat, maar dan heb je ook wat
Pros:

De ligging dichtbij het San Marcoplein met in de omgeving veel te zien, veel restaurants, veel winkeltjes en toch heel rustig gelegen. Fijne ontvangst, prachtige, schone, ruime kamer met goed sanitair en geweldig ontbijt op de kamer

Cons:

Het hotel ligt aan een kanaal, dus daar vaart ook ‘s nachts wel eens een motorboot doorheen, hetgeen bij Venetië hoort natuurlijk

Katastrophal!
Cons:

Unglaublich, uns wurde der Zugang zum Zimmer nicht gewährt, da es scheinbar ein Problem mit dem Wasser gab. Dann mussten wir mit den Koffern durch halb Venedig gehen um ein Ersatzzimmer zu bekommen. Dieses Hotel war die noch größere Katastrophe. Man konnte den Geruch im Hotel nicht ertragen, die Zimmerkategorie war eine ganz schlechte und die Zimmerpreise halb so teuer wie im ursprünglichen Hotel. Nach einer Stunde Aufenthalt mussten wir alles stornieren und ein neues Hotel buchen. Dann ging es zu Fuß wieder durch halb Venedig um das Hotel in der ursprünglichen Lage zu beziehen. All dass war dem ursprünglichen Hotel egal… unfreundlich, katastrophal und nie mehr wieder !!! Das war ein toller Geburtstag…

Très bon séjour, nous reviendrons !
Pros:

Très bonne position dans le centre de Venise, chambre spacieuse et très lumineuse au 3e étage, avec 5 fenêtres ! Le personnel est très aimable, et Raffaele à la hauteur de sa réputation. Bref, que du bien !

Cons:

Pour trouver quelque chose à dire… l’ascenseur et l’escalier qui desservent le 3e étage ne sont pas très luxueux,,, mais ils ont le mérite d’exister.

Fairytale experience.
Pros:

The room is exactly what is advertised and the view is exceptional. Very close to Saint Marks , vaparetto , shopping & restaurants. The room was spacious and Raffello who delivered & served our breakfast was the highlight and right way to start our day ❤️we will miss his brilliant & bright personality. We loved our welcoming bottle of Processo, thank you .

Cons:

We would have appreciated receiving complimentary water each day like each other property we have stayed out for the price you pay as we only received it on our first day. Robes would have been also liked.

Es ist ein schönes, klassisch venezianisches Hotel in Bestlage. Die Junior Suite hatte eine angenehme Größe, es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine und Wasser auf dem Zimmer und wir wurden mit einem Willkommensdrink begrüßt.

Cons:

Wichtig ist zu wissen, daß es keinen Frühstücksraum gibt. Das Frühstück wird täglich aufs Zimmer serviert. Wenn man zu zweit ist, ist das sicher kein Thema, wenn man 2 oder 3 Zimmer bewohnt (weil Kinder mitreisen), ist es eher nicht möglich zusammen zu frühstücken.
Wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte, sollte man kein Zimmer am Wasser wählen, Nachts fahren die Partyboote recht lange und morgens die "Müllabfuhr".

Lovely hotel in a great location!
Pros:

Just returned from a lovely honeymoon in Venice and our stay at Hotel Al Ponte Dei Sospiri was simply wonderful. The location was spot on (literally round the corner from Piazza San Marco) and our room was very clean and well presented. Great value for money for a fraction of the price of other hotels in the area! The service was excellent and all staff did everything they could to make us feel at home. A lovely touch was being able to create a custom breakfast each day and have it delivered to your room the next morning, during a time slot of your choice. The breakfast always arrived perfectly on time and was delivered with a smile and a joyful morning welcome by the wonderful Raffaele (who made us feel very welcome, gave us great advice on local restaurants and sights…and even gave us a parting gift!).
