Séjour très agréable - Confort - Belle vue - Bien situé

Lit vraiment très très confortable.
Hôtel situé en bord de Loire avec vue sur le château.
Petit déjeuner vraiment complet et avec cette vue c'était incroyable.

Fantastic views over the Loire and excellent secure parking for my motorcycle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were tired from a long days travelling so decided to have room service ... would suggest go out to eat!

Vorsicht beim Thema Kreditkarte

positiv ist die Lage, das Frühstücksangebot, die Parkmöglichkeiten und das simple Hotel. Personal ist ziemlich freundlich

also negativ überrascht hat mich die tatsache das ich vor Ort meine Kreditkarte hinterlegen musste. Das habe ich im Vorfeld nicht gewusst, obwohl ich bewusst Hotelks vermieden habe bei denen ich das tun msus aus offensichtlichen Gründen. Ich habe Monate im Vorraus mit PayPal bezahlt nur um dann vor Ort doch meine sensiblen Daten angeben zu müssen? Nur weil im Zimmer eien Random Wasserflasche steht wofür bei Verlust auch rechtlich dubiose Strafgebühr von 30€ verlangt wird.

Das Zimmer an sich war für 180€ die Nacht auch sehr primitiv. Altes Gebäude, sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren fasst es ganz gut zusammen.

Excellent location. The views from the hotel were excellent across the river and looking across to the town of Saumur and the Chateau. It was a short walk across the bridge to the main town. A great hotel bar/dining room over looking the river. The breakfast was excellent. Beds very comfortable too.

Cons:

The room was rather small - although we only booked a standard double so can’t really complain - but just an observation. The shower over the bath leaked badly making the bathroom floor very wet.
