Very pleasant for a short stay

Location was good, breakfast was great

Cons:

Smells in stairwell on carpet, one step was dodgy, no scrubbing brush for toilet, shower was warm but not hot and there were no luggage storage available. Also there was no evening meal but plenty of other options aroundd

Very enjoyable stay. Beautiful decor in the hotel. Would stay there again.
Pros:

Good choice of food for breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Loved how information was provided telling the history of the hotel and its former use before becoming a hotel.

Cons:

Overall very good stay, but road noise was little disturbing, being located on a main street.

Pros:

Great location, building had alot of character and the chandeliers are iconic! Staff are so friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable- never seen so much purple in one room!

Cons:

We stayed during a heatwave over a bank holiday. The room had no AC so we had to leave the window open- it was so noisy and so warm. AC would be Ideal but wouldn't put me off recommending this gem of a hotel.

The loction was close to the city. Room was fairly moden. Clean room

Cons:

the room lacked any air con and the staff were not intrested in service. They gave Going trough the motions vibe, The hotel has a strict policy of no left luggage which when travelling means that we could not avail of this to allow us spend a little more in the city. The breakfast was ok, but the service to get the breakfast was slow, took about an hour form when were were seated until we were done. We only ordered an omlette! Room deposit will take up to 10 days to return.

Overnight stop.
Pros:

Cost was really good and room generally fine and ok. Breakfast very nice and tasty.

Cons:

Nowhere to store baggage prior to check-in and leaving etc. Charging both £50 deposit and £20 early check-in. Bit steep and don't see why personally.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, lovely bathroom.
Great location if wanting to be close to bars and clubs.

Cons:

Our room was small and decorated in a dark purple colour which made it look quite dated, which for the money we paid, we didn’t actually mind as a last minute booking.
The music from the club next door was loud until just after 11pm, which is fine if you’re not going for a relaxing getaway.
