Great location but breakfast service could be improved
Pros:

Location is fantastic for access to the Main Street and attractions

Cons:

Service for breakfast was very slow and only appeared to be one person receiving food from the kitchen. No cereal or fruit juice or pastries on offer. Coffee wasn’t hot and eggs were hard not runny for a poached egg. Reception staff very helpful, just need to up their game for breakfast. Bar staff at night also very good.

Pros:

We had a fancy room with a gas fireplace and egg chair. And a lovely soaking tub.

Cons:

Maybe some.bath salts or bubble bath for the tub and instructions for the fireplace?

Disappointing
Pros:

Location is perfect. Brunch menu was good.

Cons:

Used tampon lying on floor in ladies toilet.
Breakfast barely warm.
Layout of room was such that you needed to squeeze past the bedside cabinet to access the wardrobe and as they were so close together the wardrobe door could only be partially opened.
No kettle. Coffee machine only dispensed small cups of coffee. When attempting to heat water to make tea everything not surprisingly tasted of coffee as it had to go through the coffee machine first.
We were allegedly given an upgrade to a luxury room by booking .com.
It certainly didn’t reflect this.
We complained and received £88 off our bill. Which meant we still paid over £200.
We have been offered a 20% discount if we book again within the next year.

Great hotel, we would stay there again
Pros:

Really lovely hotel in a great central location. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and good facilities. The staff team were very friendly and helpful, especially in the bar, and a special mention for Shahd who served us with dinner in the restaurant - she was great. Fabulous playlist in the restaurant on Friday evening too! The decor and ambience of the hotel was fabulous.

Perfect trip
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, room very nice however the red lighting around the window was a distraction and shone through the curtains, we turned ours off but other rooms reflected in to ours, there was no reason for these lights and they seemed unneccesary. Breakfast cooked fresh, great options, location perfect. The lady who welcomed us on the desk extremely helpful

Brilliant hotel, beautifully styled and super comfy room
Pros:

Really well looked after, modern decor and a luxurious feel to the room as well as the bars and lobby. The staff made our stay extra special by decorating our bed ahead of our wedding day.

Cons:

We stayed in The Georgian Suite which is unfortunately situated at the front of the hotel which means the noise from Coco club below the hotel is quite loud on busy evenings. We were woken a few times by patrons of the club gathered outside the hotel (presumably as a smoking area) laughing and shouting across the street. This is part and parcel of staying in a city centre hotel though, and we simply accepted it without complaint as we understood not much could be done!
