Breakfast very good.
Room comfortable
Staff obliging
No plug in the bath !!
Pleasant reception staff when I checked out.
Difficult to find even with sat-nav. On a large complex with no indication on the entrance. No-one on reception when we arrived. Only person there was serving behind bar with customers waiting. Had to wait until someone arrived from outside with no apology for the wait and not very friendly.
No disabled parking spaces.
Shocking hotel with shocking service paid for a premium room and this is my fridge after it’s been restocked stay away as it is over priced and under managed.
Breakfast was always excellent, with a wide variety of options available including Gluten free.
Coffee machine broken, but the hotel had another one in a different room.
Everything was very clean and tidy, lovely large beds and great facilities. Breakfast was particularly delicious!
Nothing.
Very good value for money. Staff were great. Room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Food was good. Great check in and out times.
A/C in room wasn't working efficiently so room was a tad stuff even with window open.
All food was excellent. Room comfortable. Good sleep. Staff friendly and helpful, including Elvis, Uhay, breakfast waitress and room cleaner.
Some food choices were off menu as out of stock
Breakfast choice was good. Room adequate. Good sized bathroom and shower cubicle. Bed was far too soft and not good for my bad back but....
One negative was that the kettle and tea and coffee in the room was hidden in a cupboard with no sign to say it was there. We found it just before we left whilst looking for something else, by which time we had purchased drinks downstairs! Not helpful. If you're going to put it in the cupboard please put signs on the desk to say you have.
Clean modern friendly
Unexceptional
Very comfortable bed.
Bathroom fan didn't work so v. steamy - but I forgot to tell the management as we left.
I sent the following message to the manager twice regarding our stay and have been completely ignored. Clearly their promise and goal of making your stay a complete success is definitely not true
My family and I stayed with yourselves on Friday 29th May for one night. When we were checking in I asked if they took cash payment for the room, and was advised that they do but would prefer card. The man behind the desk then said to me having asked this question already about cash, how would I like to pay, so I responded I would like to pay cash as he said they do take it. We were then made to feel very uncomfortable and as though we were doing something wrong, he then abruptly said do I have the exact cash, which I looked through my purse and I didn’t have the exact cash but very close to what the cost was. He was muttering the whole time as though he was annoyed with me paying like this, he went out the back to get a cash bag to give me the £1.45 change. I don’t think I have ever been made to feel so unwelcome in a hotel before. We had already stayed in two other hotels that week and received a far different welcoming where the receptionist were kind and courteous. The reason I didn’t say anything at the time was because he was the only one I could have said it to as it appeared he was in charge. This made us feel uncomfortable for the duration of the stay. I would have also mentioned there was not shower gel in the shower, and also I wasn’t impressed with how rusty the plug hole was in the bath, and wouldn’t let my son have a bath in there because of this. (Room 22) We didn’t have a particularly good night sleep either as it was very loud during the night with talking/shouting.
Having stayed away regularly for work in different hotels and having managed and controlled asthma , I believe no issue my only trigger for my asthma is “Cats” or extreme long haired dogs (we have 2 dogs at home and they are not hypoallergenic). I did note the hotel was pet friendly and the receptionist checked with the cleaner on arrival the room had been cleaned . It turned out it had been “turned over “ so beds made a bins emptied. It’s not the cleaners fault as we interpreted her and she had to remove the hoover from blocking our doorway at 16:02 when we arrived .
If staying if here and you haven’t had a problem for year (my last attack was age 10) and I am now a parent of a 10 and 12 yr old .
We did open windows to add some ventilation or fresh air .
However we did not go to reception and ask for a room swop as believed (had been told ) “it’s a busy one we are full “ now whether that’s just to create a sense of popularity.
It did look very busy
Despite regularly going outside for fresh air and looking distressed no one spoke with me .
This escalated into ambulance which happened away from site .
When the ambulance arrived back to re unite me with my two children it was only then the hotel seemed to notice and the manager came out , whilst I can not comment if he was on the desk and aware fully of the distress I was under prior .
The sudden realisation then children were alone in the hotel room whilst their parent was having emergency medical treatment.
Whilst be 12 and 10 in capable of looking after their self it’s still upsetting for them for their mother to be distressed having to leave site for help .. the decision i made a parent however this was backed up by the ambulance staff saying it would only panic my children to see me like that .
We checked out early , handed the keys back and left we didn’t even have our breakfast.
The hotel was pretty full with a football thing (children’s teams and coaches ) whether they thought my children were just messing about or whether then thought I , I don’t know .
We will not be visiting again !
