The Location , the warm welcome , the staff were friendly & helpful .
The pillows on our bed needed replacing , bed not very comfortable .We did have a lovely stay however & would return if we were in the area .
Lovely hotel great bar and restaurant great position
Paying for parking. Bathroom was dated tired and poor
Lots of choice at Breakfast and the staff (especially the older chap in the restaurant) were very plesant. Breakfast area overlooking the canal and boats.
Comfy bed. Decent nights sleep
Took ages to check in. New system apoarently. Paid on my card on arrival. They said the card pament had not gone through. Although i could see it in my banking app, and showed them. Went on to say same thing had happend to the prevous customer! So why interrogate me? Not good customer service when given my room key. I asked what room number it was, as she didnt say. To be told 'it says it on the card'!
Aircon did not work in the room, which was very disappointing and made this stay very difficult for me and my girlfriend
The location was perfect
The marina opposite the hotel and everything close by the bars cinema and shops a short walk so no need to use your car.
We had a meal in Harvester pub next to the hotel and it was good value for money would recommend!
Good parking never had a problem getting a space.
Comfy beds and lovely toiletries provided.
