You have to produce more toilet rolls when 2adults + 2 kids in one double room. Same as pillows at least extra 2 pillos are nearly always needed for 2adults.

N/A regarding breakfast. Staff were excellent and location was great to access other parts of Lincoln.
Food was good we had a lovely lunch.
Great that we could leave luggage with the hotel outside time to access the room.
The only thing that affected our stay was that the mattress needed replacing. There was a huge dip in the centre of the bed. I know it was my fault, as I should have asked to change room but on the other hand I didn't feel that the hotel should have let the room with the bed being in that state. On leaving the member of staff was extremely apologetic as we checked out and reduced our rate.
Spacious, clean rooms. Great location next to the river.

Parking was an issue , not enough spaces
I was assisted by Liam at reception during check in. He made every effort to help with our problematic earlier reservation through booking com. He cheerfully tried his very best to leave us as satisfied customers and successfully resolved all the issues. Although a difficult start to our experience he turned the situation around and was an absolute credit to the hotel and Holiday Inn organisation.

The continental breakfast croissants etc were really good - once the produce were refreshed. The fruit juice, cereals, fruit and yoghurt selection were very good.
The booking com process was cumbersome and unclear for this particular reservation; which resulted in us initially not getting the room etc we thought we had booked.
Luckily for us, the excellent reception staff (particularly Liam) resolved the matter completely to our satisfaction.
The price for one night's accommodation felt too high, but this seems the current trend in Lincoln.
The cooked breakfast seemed as though it had been on the warmers for too long as e.g. the sausages were rather stale and dry; some of the other labeled constituents such as bacon and black pudding etc were unavailable during my time in the dining room.
