The customer service was excellent, and the staff truly went above and beyond. When I mentioned I was craving a kottu, the Resident Manager specially arranged for the chef to prepare one for me. A special thank you to Nelka for the wonderful hospitality!"

Beautiful heritage beachfront property with stunning sea views.
* Excellent location for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

* Lavish breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options.

Cons:

The walk from the reception to the main gate is quite long, which can be inconvenient, especially for families with young children or elderly guests.
* Although there are two swimming pools, both are around 4 feet deep, with no shallow section for babies or toddlers. A children’s pool or a 2-foot-deep area would be a great addition.
* Hair conditioner was not provided in the room, which is unexpected for a luxury resort.

A Peaceful Beachfront Stay
Pros:

Had a really nice stay at Heritance Ahungalla. The location is beautiful, right on the beach, and what we loved most was that the beach wasn’t crowded at all. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.
A big thank you to all the staff ..,from the front desk, reception, housekeeping, gardeners, and everyone else. Every single person was so friendly, always smiling, and happy to help.

A special thank you to Thenuja and Nelka. They really made our stay extra special with their kindness and genuine hospitality. They truly won our hearts. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla. The variety of food was exceptional, with something for everyone, and every meal was enjoyable. The pool was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, making it a great place to relax with the family.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. They went above and beyond, even offering to look after my child while I finished my meal, which was a gesture I truly appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning sea view.
The information and guidance provided about the turtle conservation activities and local attractions were excellent and helped make our experience even more memorable.
A special thank you to Shawyantha, who was exceptionally polite, professional, and helpful. From the warm welcome on arrival to the heartfelt farewell, he made our stay feel special and created memories that we will cherish for a long time.
Thank you to the entire team at Heritance Ahungalla for a fantastic experience. We look forward to visiting again.
