Great hotel, great neighborhood, perfect in every way
Pros:

I booked the Superior Modern Art room for three nights at Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus hotel. I wanted this particular style room because it was on a high floor with big windows. The windows opened up electronically with automatic up and down shades to keep the warm sun out of the room during the day. There was a nice view over the Vienna rooftops. The bed, linens and bathroom were all very comfortable. There was ample closet space for my clothes and jackets. The wifi was good. The staff was very kind upon check-in even though there was a long line of guests waiting to check-in. The buffet breakfast was excellent with three rooms filled with food. Even though the hotel was full, there was always a table available for breakfast. There were plenty of vegan/vegetarian choices. The Rathaus neighborhood offered many nice restaurants and was an easy walk to the Museum Quarter. There were several tram and metro stops convenient to the hotel and I was able to hop a tram to find some nice dinner spots. My stay at Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus came at the end of my three week trip and it was easily the best accommodation I experienced.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

The hotel is excellent. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Staff is friendly. A special great to Florian who helped me look for my lost passport. Breakfast is excellent. The location is excellent, everywhere can be reached on foot.

Josefshof - Erholung mitten in Wien
Pros:

Das Hotel ist perfekt in der Nähe des Rathauses gelegen, dadurch sind alle Öffis schnell und auch die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das Personal allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, bekam zu meinem Geburtstag einen schön gedeckten Tich und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit aus der Küche.

Kleine Reparaturen (Ausfall der Klimaanlage) wurden sofort erledigt.

Das Zimmer war absolut ruhig.. trotz ESC haben wir nichts gehört.

Frühstück 1a.. sogar bis 12 Uhr

Danke nochmals für alles..!!

Cons:

Das Zimmer war etwas zu klein.. Rate beim Buchen die höhere Kategorie zu wählen... oder direkt beim Einchecken zu fragen, ob was größeres frei wäre - kostet dann natürlich mehr. Sie versuchen dann wirklich alles..

Gutes Stadthotel in großartiger Lage, um Wien zu erkunden.

Schönes Stadthotel, tolle Lage! Ich war bereits das zweite Mal dort, habe das Hotel meinem Vater empfohlen, der bei seinem Besuch im letzten Jahr ebenfalls sehr zufrieden war und werde ganz sicher wiederkommen.

Excellent getaway hotel for couples.
Pros:

Perfect location with clean district and a walking distance to parliament, city hall, cathedral and all museums in the old town of Vienna. Hotel is clean and in a very good standing. Breakfasts are amazing inclusing variety of cheese, meat, fish, eggs, breads, sweets, fresh juices, quite good coffee and prosecco. Its perfect for vegetarian, you will definitely find something you like for every morning. Room is equipped with coffee machine and there are capsules available to use. Hotel interiors are very cosy and well designed. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is the examplary Austrian service. I'm happy to find this hotel and would both, recommend it for my friends and return there myself in my next visit to Vienna. Distance from Airport by Uber is around 30-35 min driving and cost around 29 eur, but there are public transport too for those travelling at ease small luggage.

Cons:

Hotel would definitely benefit from having an evening restaurant for visitors that want to enjoy their dinner meals without leaving the hotel.

Wunderschönes, komfortables Hotel in exzellenter Lage. Die Zimmer waren ruhig, die Betten bequem und das Frühstücksbuffet ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
