Very friendly staff and a lovely hotel for the price point, good breakfast and a very good evening meal in the restaurant. Ample free parking was a major plus. Very clean which is important.

Accommodation was spectacular with very well sized and comfy rooms. Perfect stay if visiting Billing offroad show especially if travelling in your own vehicle as the free parking is a bonus. Car park felt safe too. I would totally recommend.
Was not particularly fond of the restaurant. Dinner did not meet my expectations.. but domt let it judge your stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good on the other hand.

Breakfast a bit basic. Coffee really bad (sorry!).
All staff very friendly and attentive. Hotel clean, spacious and good condition.
Hotel restaurant was very good, open early for breakfast until 11am and open again late until 10pm which was ideal for us as we arrive late. We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive and varied menu. Food was good quality and quantity. The bar was well stocked and run efficiently. Holiday Inn Northampton exceeded out expectations.
The USB sockets in the rooms were mostly faulty, either completely failed or charging very slowly. Yes, they are delicate electronic terminals which obviously encounter high frequency use in a hotel room but maybe the Holiday Inn group could invest in better quality USB terminals or renew them on a regular basis to ensure reliable operation.
USB charging is an essential feature in this age.

We were using it as a transit stop from Stowe to E Anglia. Location was excellent. The check in was quick. The room/bathroom were very clean and everything worked. The breakfast was excellent.
