Just arrived for a 3 night booking made 1 month ago to be told they are full and have overbooked due to a new system installed last week.
Shocking and of absolutely zero help in finding an alternative.
Left without a bed. Now got to find an alternative.
Easy to find
Hotels was in a good location. Staff on the desk were very accommodating as we asked for earlier time to get into the room. Room spacious & clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection very good
Unfortunately we went to make a hot drink & the milk was off but can't complain about anything else really
Didnt stay in the property. Disappointed with the service received. Requested to change the property to another holiday inn( same group) in the same area where I had an existing booking as booked an additional room in the wrong hotel in error as was in a rush as travelling for a close family wedding. Booking.com where helpful in trying to resolve however the request was rejected by the hotel. Outcome was me having to book an additional room for my family member at the hotel I was staying at and being charged for a room which was not utilised.
Nice room, comfortable and clean toilets as well as shower. Area lets it down a bit, but as a place to stay it does everything you’d need

Everything but the air conditioning was a pleasant surprise in this heatwave!
They use parking eye. I didn’t have a car on this occasion but I’m never a fan when I see a company using parking eye.

I've used this location for business trips a number of times, the rooms and work space are a good size (single occupant) with coffee/tea facility, toiletries, (powerful shower) iron, hairdryer etc.
I've not used the dining.
There are two additional restaurants within a 10 minute walk, both very good.
Easy access to the M1
Clean and very modern. Staff were friendly and breakfast was great too. Sometimes holiday inns are abit hit and miss but this one was the best one I’ve stayed at.
