Booked in at last minute at a very busy time early august and had a most comfortable nights sleep.
Nothing really to dislike
All staff seemed happy to be working there , the bar staff we chatted to were brilliant , reception staff were very helpful , cleaning staff were always happy , the food was really good , a decent price , breakfast was some of the best buffet food l have had in a hotel .
The price of wine , the TV was hopeless , it needs instructions , the bed was too soft for me but my partner slept fairly well , we had a dog with us as it stated dog friendly £10 a night extra , no dog basket or even a dog blanket , no bowls or even treats , walking the dog was ok , they have areas on hotel site where l feel they could fence off with gate access to allow dogs to run free .
The bathroom was very clean and the shower was really nice and had a lot of power to it. Staff friendly. Parking was easy. Quiet location too.
The bed was very clean but could be better in terms of comfort. Still had a good nice sleep.

There is a spectular view of the river a few minutes from the hotel which is very beautiful.

I wish there was water and a fridge in the room
The room cleaning could have been a bit better. Our sheet & pillow cases weren’t Changed regularly.
I think the price was reasonable enough given the date and popular nearby event, the room was exactly as expected as seen on the website, it was very clean, comfortable bed, well stocked. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and variety of food to choose from including cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit, yogurt and more which all tasted fresh along with a hot drinks machine and fruit juices even providing biodegradable takeaway cups that you can take with you for the journey ahead.
Could have been more vegetarian options on display at the cooked breakfast buffet. Though I became aware afterwards that vegetarian sausages are available on request this isn't signposted and I only found out by overhearing another guest asking for them. Also our room card didn't permit us access to the on site gym which I believe was included in the price on the booking.com listing page.

we had end room i believe room 34,unfortunately everytime theinternal corridors are open,it causes the door to the room to bang.when this happens early in the morning starting on 1 occasion,at 5.45,and banging 6 times in 90 minutes,u end up getting up,we left day early as could not face another night being disturbed,wont be going back ,unless they resolve this problem,reception said they would prop the door open,but u cannot,as its a dire door,and does not stop someone from closing it anyway
