+ kostenlose Besichtigung vom eigentlichen ICE-Hotel
We had an extraordinary time at the Ice Hotel, although we stayed at one of the warm rooms :) The art and story behind this hotel is astonishing and an experience in itself. Everything is set up to be easy and for you to explore the nature as much as possible. The frozen river, the sledges, the spa overlooking endless snow, but also the availability of proper clothes to enjoy all the activities - make your stay unforgetable. Probably the most packed 3 days vacation we had, but worth every second.
We got to visit the ice Hotel 365 during our stay, we had a lot of fun there. The cabin is well decorated, comfortable and clean. The small kitchen is great, we were able to make some tea and coffee. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of choices.
We were there in the shoulder season, not many activities open. Part of the hotel exhibition was closed, as ice was melting.
No dish soap provided and no sponge for the kitchen, which is weird when they provide plates and stuff.
One major thing to complain about is not exactly the hotel but Booking.com. I made the reservation and immediately decided to add one more day since it was Black Friday. Thinking it would be easier for them to manage, I changed the booking to add another day. Somehow they changed my booking condition from fully refundable to non-refundable without any warning. As we traveled by train and the tickets were not released yet by the time I made that reservation. I had to get through a lot of stress.Talked to both hotel and client service from booking.com, nobody would make the effort to resolve this. I am very disappointed about booking.com.
I loved the unique experience of sleeping in a cold room. It was the highlight of my trip. The staff were great. I also had the 6 course "Ice" menu at the restaurant. It was one of the best meals I've ever had!! If you stay here, spend the extra money for this meal. I loved it
Nothing. It was a fabulous stay!
The space is quite large and very quiet, and the property is also in a great location, close to the reception. The bedding is clean and comfortable, and the mattress is moderately firm with good support.
The hotel restaurant serves very fresh ingredients and the food is delicious, making it—apart from the ice rooms—the best experience at the Ice Hotel.
For guests who have just arrived with a lot of luggage, the directions and information on where to check in are not very clear, which causes considerable inconvenience.
In addition, the reception staff are not particularly welcoming and only provide brief answers to questions, without proactively offering any relevant information or guidance.
The in-room facilities are relatively basic, especially the so-called kitchenette, which only includes a microwave and a very small kettle, making it virtually impossible to cook meals. The instant coffee and tea provided in the room also seem to have been there for quite some time and are not particularly fresh.
