Our family had a phenomenal stay and cannot wait to return!
Pros:

The Samode Palace exceeded our every expectation! Our family of four had a magnificent time enjoying the amenities and the quiet escape. The pools were gorgeous. We had so much fun exploring the various nooks and niches of the property. The rooms were spectacular. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced - everything was perfectly clean and organized, and the staff were always so helpful. The kids enjoyed the puppet show. Breakfast was outstanding! We will highly recommend to all our friends and colleagues.

Cons:

The hotel restaurant's dinner prices were quite high, and there aren't other local options.

Traumhaftes Palasthotel
Pros:

Wunderschönes Palsthotel in ruhiger, abgeschiedener Lage. Stilvolle Einrichtung, makellose Sauberkeit, zuvorkommendes Personal.
Frühstück kann nicht beurteilt werden, da uns ein Magen-Darmvirus erwischt hatte; das Buffet sah jedoch ansprechend aus.
Zu empfehlen sind in jedem Falle die Palastführung und der Dorfspaziergang.
Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf eine traumhafte Suite, was uns bei unserem angegriffenen Gesundheitszustand besonders aufbaute ! Herzlichen Dank !

Cons:

Negativ war nur, dass wir lediglich eine Nacht gebucht hatten.

The real deal heritage Palace hotel..!
Pros:

I last stayed at the Samode Palace over 20 years ago and it's just as magica nowl, if not more. The hotel has evolved with excellent rooms, beautiful restaurant and magical pools, the 'new' roof top infinity pool particularly great. Staff are very attentive. This is the real deal Palace hotel with exceptional Durbar Hall and other beautiful, original Palace rooms. Just amazing..!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like - top notch.

Very lovely but needs a little oomph and a better breakfast
Pros:

The property is an absolutely stunning and well kept. You can full feel all the history walking around. The rooms are incredible and well and authentically decorated. Beds are very comfortable.

Cons:

The pools aren’t heated so if you come in the colder months like I did there is no use for them. The jacuzzi which is more like a big bathtub and the water jets are very sleepy, looked very dirty. Did not want to go in that. Food is good, but the breakfast menu is more that of a cheap all inclusive hotel

Lovely well maintained property
Pros:

Beautiful property and the sheesh mahal was incredible. Loved the tour that was given by the staff. The property is well maintained and the staff are wonderful.

Cons:

Only 1 functioning restaurant that is very very expensive; ₹2500 for a single person veg thali.

very peaceful getaway from delhi. Grand Palace, great service and very good food

The place is grand and the highlight was the room. beautiful hill view and the service is very good. The food is great and is served with warmth. The room service is prompt and very attentive.

Cons:

some places had the smell of humidity - of course its monsoon but i know that it can be minimised.
