Sheraton Poznań — the brand standard does not reflect reality.

I have been a loyal guest of the Sheraton brand for years. A conscious and deliberate choice, every time.

I reached out with a simple request: to reschedule a non-refundable booking while preserving its full value. I was not asking for a refund. I was asking for a solution that is standard practice in five-star hotels worldwide and generates absolutely no financial loss for the hotel.

I received a refusal. I then sent a formal letter requesting a response within 48 hours. I received no reply.

This is precisely the moment when a hotel reveals its true level. Not in the brochures. Not at check-in. But at the first situation that requires a basic degree of common sense and relationship management.

A five-star hotel sells more than a room. It sells an experience and the assurance that as a guest, you matter. When that promise is broken at the level of basic communication, what remains is simply a higher price with no justification.

For those who treat spending at this category of hotel as a deliberate decision and expect proportionate respect: negative recommendation.
