Staff was courteous. Room was small. Location its opposite clock tower. Very busy n crowded area. If you are coming with car n big bags. It’s a challenge to reach this place and parking is far off.

Had to walk a long distance from car park. I was told €42 euros for valet parking was expensive so I should go and park at the Pavillion myself. However my bill for less than 24 hours was £40 and it took me so long too. Also I am 64 and was given a room 3 floors up in the side wing and I just found it very difficult to go up and down several times. There was no iron available in the evening & they said I can have it in the morning when staff arrives but was not delivered.

La miglior vista possibile sulla piazza della città vecchia
Pros:

La posizione direttamente sulla torre dell’orologio e sulla piazza della città vecchia e’ spettacolare, penso non se ne possa avere di migliori. Le doppie finestre isolano bene dai rumori sottostanti. Colazione valida con personale cortese. Consiglio fortemente di prenotare le camere con vista.

Aggiungerei una macchinetta per l’espresso in cialde per la colazione, per il resto va bene così com’è

Το Grand Hotel Praha ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας. Η θέα από το δωμάτιο ήταν πραγματικά μαγευτική, ειδικά προς την Παλιά Πόλη και το Αστρονομικό Ρολόι — μοναδική εμπειρία όλες τις ώρες της ημέρας. Η καθαριότητα του ξενοδοχείου ήταν άψογη, με πολύ προσεγμένους χώρους και καθημερινή φροντίδα στο δωμάτιο. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό, χαμογελαστό και πάντα πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε, κάνοντας τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο άνετη και ευχάριστη. Ένα ξενοδοχείο που συνδυάζει εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, άριστη εξυπηρέτηση.

Las habitaciones están distribuidas en dos edificios independientes, uno de los cuales no tiene ascensor y el acceso es, además de laberíntico, con múltiples tramos de escaleras. El personal justo de amabilidad/atención y nada resolutivo. Hubo un problema con la calefacción y en cuatro noches no se solventó. Ofrecieron un calefactor que aceptamos y al reclamarlo nos dijeron que no tenían calefactores.

I would not recommend this hotel.
Cons:

We got a much worse room category than the one we had booked and had to stay one night in that room until with a lot of discussion they could change our room to the booked category. For the price we paid for the hotel this is unacceptable. According to other reviews this happens more often and I would not book this hotel again or recommend it.
