Clean place, good breakfast, nice staff
Uncomfortable lumpy mattress seemed old. A little expensive especially having to pay car parking as staying 4 nights and blue badge holder.? Why are your nights stay variable by quite a margin .?
Comfortable bed
Excellent soundproofing
Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. They allow my dog which is a must for us going anywhere nowadays.
Paying for parking and gutted they got rid of the pool.
Breakfast was alright
Mattress hard but comfortable
Felt rushed by the receptionist
They forgot to leave a cot as requested but found one once the issue was raised. Cot was cheap and uncomfortable.
My room number was not on the breakfast list even though breakfast was included and that was confirmed at check-in. They let us in anyway but didn't agree with us
Clean
Good comfortable rm
Lovely products
Couldn’t open windows
Good location clean room
No aircon, supplied with a fan
Safe, good location, good parking .
Availability of connecting rooms with my kids.
The low ceiling, the carpet could be renewed, and the in room dining can be improved (taste wise)

The location was good
The breakfast was awful got told three different prices for breakfast ended up being the most expensive as I expected when I only received £8 back from my £50 deposit which did include £5 for parking for one night the staff member who greeted us at breakfast couldn’t of hated her job more she was very short and blunt
Beautiful room, very clean , toiletries provided were nice. A good shower, very friendly staff who were extremely helpful. It also has a lovely restaurant with a varied menu. Breakfast had plenty of choice for all taste and diets.
We found this to be a great location to Portsmouth, Gosport, Lee on Solent, Port Nelson and Portchester Castle alongside Stokes bay . It is also within reach of Southsea.
The bed was to hard and the pillows to soft ( this is a personal preference) but request for firmer pillows was granted very quickly.
Location suited us.
Expensive. Under staffed. TV did not work in room.
Clean
Bar and breakfast as they seemed good value for money and the staff were more than willing to help us with anything we needed. Room was a lovely room nice large and clean and the room was nice and clean after the maid service had been in.
Over priced snacks from the food cabinet near reception. Evening meal was a joke as I ordered the BBQ ribs. These were sent back as the portions were so small they wouldn’t have satisfied a 5 year old. The kitchen couldn’t give us the right order as my wife ordered zucchini fries. As my wife is gluten intolerant and we were told we couldn’t have them, 5 minutes later the waiter came out with the fries which we had to send back. My wife ordered a cheese burger and no bun, all she got was a the cheese burger and chips, no garnish or salad. I ordered a cheese burger and got everything with it.
Very welcoming staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Great location for our short drive to the Ferry Port.
Air conditioning and very quiet bedroom. E4:E5 bus from outside the hotel to centre of Portsmouth.
Poor quality food at breakfast and breakfast staff ‘run ragged’ due to the demand on their time! High cost of stay!
Spacious room, nice bar and restaurant area, good location for my needs. Bar staff let me order some bar food after it had closed which was appreciated after a long and delayed journey!
The bed was probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. I was surprised at how hard it was and didn’t have a good night’s sleep as found it too uncomfortable. I wouldn’t even put this down to preference as I appreciate everybody is different, I don’t mind a firm mattress, but this felt hard to the point of being painful lying on my side! Not what I would expect when paying ~£100 a night.
Annoying that there is a daily charge for car parking when I would assume the majority of people staying would be driving and parking.
Nice modern hotel with all the usual facilities
