The rooms were laid out well and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice to cover all tastes.
Nothing that comes to mind
The staff were amazing we travelled to the hotel after a cruise which docked early morning and the hotel got us checked in earlier so we could rest.
It’s a Marriott.
The breakfast was RUBBISH, the staff at the front desk were overworked and couldn’t care less when I asked why breakfast was so poor. Charging £5 to park onsite was outrageous. I had this charge removed.

Took advantage of an upgrade that was offered, which unfortunately meant we had a room next to lifts which were a bit noisy!
When it comes to cleanliness, I am satisfied.
I have always chosen Marriott because of its excellent service and hospitality. Our church has hosted its annual Gala Night at your hotel for the past three years, we have celebrated our anniversary there, and my husband and I are regular guests.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my recent experience. I made the reservation using my Marriott account and email address. Although the room was booked for two guests, only our guest was staying overnight. I simply wanted to prepare the room with welcome tokens before our guest arrived.
Despite being the booking holder, I was not allowed to check in. Instead, a male staff member escorted me to the room, unlocked the door, and remained standing at the entrance while I prepared it. I found this uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially after my identity as the booking holder could have been verified.
I understand the importance of security procedures, but I believe this situation could have been handled with more professionalism and courtesy. This experience did not reflect the high standard of service I have always associated with Marriott.
