Good value for money, but the wrong room and noise affected most of our stay

Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. After we reported the issue, the staff changed our room, which we appreciated.

Cons:

We stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately, the first two nights we were given a room that did not match our booking. We had reserved a room with a street view, but instead our window faced a wall with air conditioning units and ventilation equipment. On the first night, we arrived very late and were exhausted after a long journey, so we didn’t notice the noise. However, on the second night, the noise from the units was unbearable, and I couldn’t sleep at all. The next morning, I asked the reception to change our room. They changed it for the last night, but this issue affected most of our stay.

Pros:

Cons:

Was told place had disabled rooms, but didn’t get one. Had I known those rooms were booked, I’d have changed my dates or booked elsewhere. Only disabled access I saw was the exterior ramp. Couldn’t use the bathroom because the doorway was too narrow for my wheelchair; the shower had a high tub; and the toilet was BEHIND the door … who does that!

Esperienza molto positiva sotto vari punti di vista.
L' hotel è molto pulito e accogliente e ha tariffe vantaggiose.
Colazione abbondante e molto buona.
Staff estremamente molto cordiale e gentile.
Vorrei fare un ringraziamento particolare a Zsan, ragazza della reception che mi ha aiutato a risolvere un disguido non legato all' hotel.
Nelle vicinanze si trova Rizal park, un enorme centro commerciale e non lontano si può visitare Intramuros.

A memorable first stay!
Pros:

My first stay at City Garden Suites Manila was a great experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and hassle free. Special thanks to Carlo, the Front Desk Manager, for his excellent assistance and warm hospitality, which made the entire transaction easy and seamless.

The room rates are very reasonable and the hotel's location is highly accessible, making it a convenient choice for travelers. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend City Garden Suites Manila. Looking forward to staying here again!

Decided Against Checking In
Pros:

My sister and I found ourselves visiting City Garden Suites because it is conveniently close to Intramuros. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped for, leading us to decide against checking in.

While the hotel itself has a pleasant ambiance and the overall atmosphere seemed inviting, from the moment we walked in, Jona's (one of the front desk staffs) demeanor was off-putting. She appeared visibly angry and mean, which was not the first impression we were looking for during our stay. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt an overwhelming sense of negative energy emanating from her. What struck us as particularly unprofessional was the way she interacted with her fellow coworkers. Rude remarks and a dismissive attitude were evident, creating an uncomfortable environment not just for guests but for her colleagues as well. It was disheartening to witness such behavior.

On a more positive note, I must commend the other employees present during our visit. They were accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in helping guests. Unfortunately, despite the hotel’s decent ambiance and proximity to historical sites, we ultimately decided to leave rather than risk an unpleasant experience during our stay.
