Best place in Vulcano
Pros:

A wonderful stay at the Therasia Resort. The location is truly spectacular, with breathtaking views over the sea and the Aeolian Islands. My room was beautiful, comfortable, and offered an amazing view that made every moment special. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Vulcano.

Cons:

I found the service somewhat disorganized.
Guests often need to ask for information proactively, as there is very little guidance about the activities and experiences available both within the resort and around the island. The breakfast was also rather limited in terms of variety and quality compared to the standard expected from a luxury property. On a more positive note, the fine dining restaurants within the resort were better and provided a much higher-level experience.

Una cosa voglio dirla, piu che altro un consiglio. Una location di questa portata non può dare acqua tepelene dell’Albania in stanza.. quanto meno dovrebbe avere un acqua italiana se non appunto Siciliana !

Non mi sono piaciuti i ristoranti all’interno ma non per il prezzo i ristoranti all’interno pentastellati sono troppo raffinati a me piace la Sicilia e in Sicilia si mangia molto bene come sapete però purtroppo con quelle pietanze che possono piacere per carità non rispecchiano le usanze della cara e amata terra della Sicilia.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar.

Cons:

Das Hotel trifft den Standard eines 5* Hotels und Leading Hotel of the World in keiner Weise. Das Hotel erfüllt die erwartbaren hohen Standards nicht. Die optimale Leistung hängt vom Zufall ab, z.B.

Wellnessbereich: - mal gibt es Handtücher, mal nicht
- mal gibt es Tee, mal nicht
- mal ist das Becken gut beheizt, mal 4 Grad kälter
- Massagedüsen funktionieren z.T. nicht., dann hat man die defekte Steuerung auch plötzlich in der
Hand. Das wird auch nicht repariert.
- Keine Hinweise zur Bade- und Saunahygiene für die Gäste

Die Außbenbecken sind trotz anderslautender Hotelbeschreibung nicht beheizt und damit nutzlos. Niemand hat dort gebadet außer den Möwen.

Zimmer: - mal wird die Mini-Bar vollständig aufgefüllt, mal nicht, mal weniger
- keine Decken für den Terrassenbereich, die man nutzen möchte
- teilweise laute Außengeräuße vom Flur und Treppenhaus
- Hotelinformationen auf dem TV nur auf Italienisch verfügbar

Restaurant: - sehr unterschiedliche Servicequalität. Mal öffnet der Sommelier den Wein formvollendet, mal stellt
die Bedienung die Flasche einfach auf den Tisch und schenkt nicht ein einziges mal nach.
- mal werden hochwertige, passende Weingläser zur 200 EUR-Flasche serviert, mal kommen zu
demselben Wein einfache Gastrogläser, die zudem noch angelaufen sind, zum Einsatz.
- die gepriesene Küche ist eher nüchtern. Kein Gruß aus der Küche, kein Appetiser außer Brot, kein
Tagesangebot, kein Extra

und viele mehr.

Insgesamt alles in Ordnung, wenn es ein gutes 3-4 Sterne Hotel zum halben Preis wäre.

O Paraíso em Vulcano, na ilha no vulcão que não dorme.
Pros:

O pequeno-almoço foi simplesmente divinal, com uma oferta extraordinária - como poucas vezes se vê - em quantidade, variedade e qualidade. O resort é magnífico, muito bem inserido na natureza e com paisagens deslumbrantes. Reparei frequentemente no quase silêncio e tranquilidade que se sente e vive. O SPA e o centro de fitness são bastante bons e até fizemos uma ótima aula de Pilates. Os restaurantes são ótimos e comemos no “I Tenerumi”, que é plant based e tem 1 estrela Michelin e 1 outra estrela Michelin por sustentatibilidade e é realmente Excecional. Todo o staff é super prestável e simpático e sempre atento e disponível a ajudar. Há ainda no hotel um shutle bus do hotel que nos pode levar e trazer à povoação/porto de Vulcano.

De nada, foi tudo perfeito, toda a equipa do Therasia está de parabéns pelo Excelente trabalho.
