Perfect in every way!
Pros:

What a treat this hotel was. It is the restored original Pickwick Hotel from the 20s! The room we had was small but was perfect for the two of us. Very modern, clean, well kept. The staff was all very helpful and genuinely friendly. We ate brunch in the restaurant, Truva (sp?), it was delicious!

Cons:

We have no complaints

Nice hotel with perfect location
Pros:

Hotel was in perfect position and room was nice and clean with good bathroom with excellent shower. Bed was also nice and comfy. Also liked the cold water station available for free. The Truvo restaurant in the lobby was also excellent.

Cons:

Air conditioning was a bit noisy and bedsheets were joined together with quilt which made it difficult to get comfortable with the temperature.

Adequate but probably won’t book again
Pros:

Historic older building

Cons:

The rooms were very small and cramped. Very little room for walking around each other or relaxing other than on the bed. The two chairs in the room were back to back and difficult to manipulate as there was so little space

A delightful modern very well appointed hotel. Bed of your dreams so soft. Best nights sleep you will have in ages.
Pros:

This was a delightful surprise. The rooms are very tastefully renovated. Modern bright and white. The beds are truly like pillows so soft and an absolute dream
To sleep on. Beautiful hotel. Ice and water facilities on the floors. Microwave in room. Very large safe. Worthy of more stars imo post Reno. Great central location .

Cons:

Sadly there was only one lift working of two. It was terribly slow and I was on the 7th floor. I opted to take the stairs over the extraordinary wait. They are well appointed wide and fine to tread up and down should you have little luggage. Parking felt quite exposed in parking lot behind.

Good value and location in San Diego
Pros:

Ideally located in Downtown San Diego, this place offers good value in comparison to other similar/nearby options. The staff were kind and helpful and we even got to enjoy the small but functional gym in the hotel. The room and beds are comfortable and while it is located right in the middle of a lot of activities, it is surprisingly quite.

Unique historic property.
Pros:

Really well done renovations. Cool property. Close to everything. Staff was great.

Cons:

Nothing really. The lighting on various floors is intentionally dark, which was strange. The elevators are really small.
