Amazing hotel, very accommodating staff, polite and kind, comfortable and clean rooms.

Excellent value for money in good location.
Pros:

The room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was fine as well. Location was convenient for Kings Heath and the parking - although paid for - was good value. The staff were all very helpful and polite.

Cons:

The room was very compact and not really much space to use the tea/coffee facilities. Overlooking a busy main road so don't expect stunning views!

Pros:

Lovely staff, downstairs area for evening amd breakfast. Location was great for us. Bed was comfortable they lent us a fan as it was such a hot day/night. Bath was good and it all went well.

Cons:

One of the bath tiles was broken but thats all

Would definitely visit again because we were well looked after and were made to feel very welcome.
Pros:

Firstly l want to say that it is the staff that make this place special , front of house in bar and restaurant and the Chef were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They helped us find a parking spot for the car and made us a lovely breakfast , just what we asked for. The room was a little noisy with the train but the beds were very comfy so once we dropped off it was ok.

Cons:

The bathroom could have done with a little update.

Friendly staff and good service, but the extreme room temperature and booking confusion affected the overall experience.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the chef, who kindly prepared sandwiches for me when I was unable to use the breakfast service. The issue with my booking was eventually resolved, and I was not charged any additional costs.

Cons:

The biggest issue was the extremely high temperature in the room during the heatwave. The room became unbearably hot, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably. Although there was a standing fan in the room, it seemed to have been running for a long time and became very hot, so I did not feel comfortable leaving it on overnight. I was also quite stressed upon arrival because there was confusion regarding my half-board reservation. The hotel system did not show that breakfast and dinner were included in my booking, which caused unnecessary uncertainty at check-in.

Staff were very pleasant - great guy on the desk when I checked in

Cons:

Entered the room and it was like a furnace and smelt quite bad, like a strong sewer smell. I didn’t complain as it was very late and I was exhausted. Didn’t sleep though because of the heat in there. Considering this is an ihg hotel, I’d have expected air con. In this unusually hot weather, the staff should have aired the room before guests check in.

Pros:

The staff are very friendly and helpful, location is perfect there are lots of local shops as well walking distance. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Also, there's a train station next door less than 2 minutes walk.

Cons:

Didn't like the stairs too many twisting and turning room size of small next time I prefer to stay on the ground floor if there's room available once you're in the property you should have access to use the back door apart from those little details everything else was okay, perfect location for me.
