Enjoy a wonderful stay at the Double Tree in American Canyon.
Pros:

The front desk staff member was very friendly and welcoming. She let us have 2 extra cookies and made our stay very pleasant.

Cons:

Nothing! We love this Double Tree and its location. It is close to different shops and restaurants.

I had to change rooms 4 times due to faulty things in the rooms. Non-flushable toilet, broken thermostat, refrigerator making very loud noises. The 4th room was OK.

Pros:

Nothing much. Parking was abundant.

Cons:

Nasty old hotel. The carpet in the hotel probably saw some good days in the 1990's. Very dirty and smelly.
The staff is rude. Had to go down 3 times asking for coffee cups in the room, they didn't have any at the reception. the 3rd time I went to ask, the staff lady yelled at me.
