DoubleTree by Hilton Napa Valley - American Canyon

I liked that there was access to the gym, the cookie was good and parking was very accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My review is similar to others that I have read. The location was great as we had activities in Napa. Only took about 15 minutes to get from the hotel in American Canyon to venue. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a good restaurant on the premise. I ventured to the pool area and did not understand what was going on in hot tub. There were a lot of bubbles! Why?This was probably a wonderful property and could be a wonderful place to stay, but it has seen better days. It is dated and needs a lot of maintenance. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The room, draperies on patio door, and bathroom need to be updated. There is a lagoon and patio areas. Again, maintenance is needed! I would stay here again because of cost and convenience. It is not up to par with Hilton Doubletree standards.

We rented three rooms at the DoubleTree in American canyon near Napa and were very let down. It was nowhere near the level of quality that we expected from a Doubletree.

The facility was very old and tired. There were massive cracks in the wall of a room.

The front desk staff was helpful and polite.

Overall, our stay was just not what we were expecting and certainly not for the price that we had to pay.

Worst of all, are cookies were stale. IYKYK....

Disgusting room. Photos are self explanatory. I don’t often write negative reviews unless they’re legitimately warranted, but this room blatantly felt like a bait and switch. Before booking, I try to do my due diligence in choosing a clean hotel. By all accounts this place seemed completely fine. All of the room pictures this place advertises seemed clean, but it’s clear that they only reflect the newly remodeled rooms. We were unlucky enough to get one of the standard rooms they don’t show. Our headboard had mysterious large white stains on it and the shower floor looked like someone had just taken a shower after rolling around in a pile of filth. The bathroom as a whole had an underlying sour smell and the rest of the room smelled old and musty. This must have been acceptable to them because the rest of the room l was staged for new occupants. This isn’t the first time we’ve had a bad room experience at a Doubletree and we’re never booking a DoubleTree ever again.

The front desk staff member was very friendly and welcoming. She let us have 2 extra cookies and made our stay very pleasant.

It's fine for the money, but don't pay too much. The property is dated, but, hopefully, they will make improvements. If you get a remodeled room, there will be a comfy bed with a Frig. and microwave with a nice bathroom. Nice reading chair and desk. Restaurant on property, breakfast not included in the price, weird.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!! They should close this hotel. It is dated, the air did not work, furniture scuffed, and the sink did not drain. I am so disappointed in the brand that they would allow people to stay here. 0 out of 10.
