A nice hotel that could be nicer with a few extra touches.
Pros:

The layout of the hotel was nice with the rooms all surrounding the pools. We liked having our own spa on our balcony, although this was ruined by the fence separating our balcony from the one next door. We had very noisy neighbours next door so the spa was not very relaxing.
The staff member that checked us into our room was lovely and helpful.

Cons:

We had a small kitchenette, there were no tea or coffee cups, no bowls for cereal, no knives and only one fork so we had nothing to eat our food with.
We didn’t like that the balconies were separated by a colourbond fence, it was very noisy.

Hotel de lujo con buena calidad precio. Instalaciones y habitacion grande. Tuvimos jacuzzi en la terraza y fue todo una pasada!

Cons:

Son dos camas en una, y la parte del medio de la cama es incómoda.

Pros:

The bbq facilities were great for those who didn’t have a kitchen in the room. The room sizes were great as well as parking availability. The bed was comfortable. The lady who checked me in was super nice!

Cons:

We had cockroaches in our room, it was disturbing for us. We spent a night not sleeping because we could hear them moving around. Spoke to reception who had someone spray the room with mortine but they just left the dead cockroaches on the ground that we killed.
The bathrooms do get a bad smell at times as well.
The pool was freezing cold and didn’t even want to swim it was that cold compared to our other accomodation which was slightly heated. Location wise you definitely need a car or shuttle to get into town, but that’s not the accomodations fault all resorts are out of town.

A pleasurable stay.
Pros:

We found the staff very hospitable and helpful in everyway, from Arriving, during, and leaving, the staff kept everything spotless, reception staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortably looked after and helped with recommendations for Meals, Coffees and places of interest

A great holiday at Silkari Lagoons, Port Douglas.
Pros:

Had a great week. Staff helpful and receptionist gave us a full description, room clean and well equipped, plenty of parking, Great view over pools and well landscaped gardens.
